Yanks came though yesterday, extending my winning streak to 5 in a row. Today I’m running with them again today as a road dog in Houston. Two quality pitchers are facing each other tonight. Warren for the Yankees has an ERA of 2.76 and a WHIP of 0.98, for his last 5 outings and Keuchel for the Astros who has an ERA of 3.12 and a WHIP of 1.01 over that same span. Yanks have fared well in Houston, winning 7 of their last 9 meetings there. Yankees are 8-2 with Warren over his last 10 starts on grass and 4-0 when he has 5 days rest. On the other side, the Astros are 2-5 with Keuchel’s last 7 starts against the American League East and 2-6 in Keuchel’s last 8 Thursday starts. Let’s steal one in Houston.

With the Bucs win last night, that’s 5 wins out of the last 6 picks. Today I’m taking the Yankees. I just can’t see the Phillies sweeping them in the Bronx, even with Cole Hammels on the hill. Phillies are 14-37 in their last 51 road games and the Yankees are 11-4 in their last 15 at the stadium. Ivan Nova returns today from Tommy John surgery and will get the start. Mark Teixeira is questionable but should be in the line-up. Yankees have the edge in bullpen, hitting, power and defense. They should win today.
