The Georgia State Panthers will look to go 3-0 on their home turf when they host the Old Dominion Monarchs this afternoon in Atlanta. The Panthers are 3-1 on the season and second in the Sun Belt. The Monarchs reside in the seventh spot in the Sun Belt at 1-3 and are winless on the road at 0-1. The Monarchs lost three straight and are coming off a 46-20 thumping by the James Madison Dukes. The Panthers took care of business last week, cruising to an easy 35-14 victory over the visiting Northern Illinois Huskies. Georgia State has a huge edge in total offensive yards, passing yards, rushing yards, and is averaging 38.8 points per game as opposed to Old Dominion at 22.3. They also have the edge in points allowed at 21.3 with the Monarchs allowing an average of 30.0. The line is currently Georgia State laying 2.5 which is fishy; it should be higher. Consider the Panthers on the money line at only -145.

The Ole Miss Rebels are 6.5-point dogs tonight when they face the Georgia Bulldogs in the Sugar Bowl. The Rebels score more points than the Bulldogs and they want to prove they don’t need Lane Kiffin, who abandoned them midway through the season.

UNLV is 2-2 in conference play, averaging 450 yards per game, and Colorado State averages 329.The Rebels also have the edge in points per game, averaging 36.9, and the Rams are a mere 19.

The Cincinnati Bearcats will be at the friendly confines of Nippert Stadium this afternoon when they take on their Big 12 rival, the Baylor Bears. The Bearcats are 6-1 and a perfect 4-0 in conference play. The Bears come in at 4-3 and 2-2 in conference play. Both of these teams can light up the scoreboard but the difference maker in this one will be the defense. Cincinnati is allowing a stingy 18.9 points per game while Baylor is allowing an average of 31.4. The Bearcats have won 6 straight, are coming off a 49-17 blowout win over Oklahoma State last week and will have 40,000 fans on their side. Depending on where you do your shopping, the line is currently floating around Cincinnati – 3.5. Don’t get burned by the hook and consider the Bearcats on the money line.
