The Buffalo Sabres cannot afford to lose tonight at home the New York Islanders and they won’t. Enough said!
TONIGHT’S PICK: BUFFALO SABRES
Month: March 2026
Monday MLB Pick
The New York Yankees are hitting on every cylinder. They swept the Giants in San Francisco, outscoring them 13-1, and will do the same when they visit the Seattle Mariners tonight. The Yankees are hot. Ride them ‘un’til they are not.
TONIGHT’S PICK: NEW YORK YANKEES
Sunday NHL Pick
The Buffalo Sabres had better be sleeping with one eye open because the Tampa Bay Lightning are just two points back of them for the lead in the Atlantic and they have two in the bush. Today the Lightning will be hosting the Nashville Predators and they have their number. The Lightning have won three straight against the Predators, 8 of the last 9, and are 22-12 at home. The Bolts don’t come cheap today but are worth considering.
TODAY’S PICK: TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING
Saturday MLB Pick
The Baltimore Orioles won their season opener against the Minnesota Twins in a close one, 2-1, on Thursday. Today in the middle game of a 3-game set at Birdland the Orioles are expected to send Kyle Bradish to the hill. Bradish returned to the rotation late last season after Tommy John surgery and was back to doing what he does best and that is deliver. In 6 starts, Bradish was 1-1 with an ERA of only 2.53 and a 1.03 WHIP. The Twins are expected to counter with Taj Bradley. Last year with Tampa and Minnesota Bradley was 6-9 with a bloated ERA of 5.05 and a 1.31 WHIP. Pete Alonso and company are ready to pounce.
TODAY’S PICK: BALTIMORE ORIOLES
Friday MLB Pick
The Toronto Blue Jays will open the 2026 campaign tonight at home against the Athletics. Toronto should have and could have won the World Series last year but came up short and you can bet for sure they will be in the running again this year. The Jays were 94-68 overall last season and an impressive 54-27 at Rogers Centre. The Athletics were 76-86 overall and 40-41 on the road. Tonight’s expected starters are Kevin Gausman for the Jays and Luis Severino for the Athletics. In 2025 Gausman was 10-11 with a respectable ERA of 3.59 and a 1.06 WHIP. Severino was 8-11 with an elevated ERA of 4.54, a 1.30 WHIP, and can have control issues. If he is not in the zone, Toronto’s lethal bats will make him pay. Rogers Centre will be electric and the Jays are by far the better team on the field tonight.
TONIGHT’S PICK: TORONTO BLUE JAYS
Thursday NHL Pick
The Philadelphia Flyers are still very much alive in their pursuit for a Wild Card berth. They sit just 5 points back of the Ottawa Senators for the second spot with 12 games left but they will have to take care of business at home tonight when they host the Chicago Blackhawks on Broad Street. Chicago has been eliminated from the postseason and has nothing to play for but pride and being a spoiler. The Flyers have struggled at home of late, so they are due for a win at Xfinity Mobile Arena. The Bullies are 4-0 in their last 4 against the Western conference, beat the Blackhawks 3-1 in their last meeting in Chicago, and get it done tonight.
TONIGHT’S PICK: PHILADELPHIA FLYERS
Wednesday NHL Pick
The Buffalo Sabres return home tonight to KeyBank Center to face the Boston Bruins. The Sabres and the Bruins could very well meet in the first round of the playoffs and Buffalo will send Boston a message. You don’t mess with the boys from western New York. The Sabres are 22-9-3 at home and will be well-rested, having two days off, and they are 4-0 in their last 4 in this situation. The Bruins will be playing back-to-back games after falling to the Toronto Maple Leafs last night, 2-4, so fatigue could be an issue. Buffalo cruised to an easy 4-1 victory in their last meeting back in December and will do the same tonight.
TONIGHT’S PICK: BUFFALO SABRES
