The Buffalo Sabres are no longer the laughingstock of the NHL. Buffalo has become one of the best in the game and will be riding a 3-game winning streak when they host the Vegas Golden Knights tonight at KeyBank Center. Buffalo is coming off a 6-2 thumping of the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday in Tampa and the Bolts had better start looking over their shoulder because the boys from the Nickel City are right on their tail for the lead in the Atlantic. Vegas comes to town losing their last two and have lost four of their last five to Buffalo. The Sabres are 18-11-3 at home with the edge in goals scored, goals against, and are the side to consider tonight.
TONIGHT’S PICK: BUFFALO SABRES
Month: March 2026
Monday NHL Pick
If the Toronto Maple Leafs want to see the postseason, they need to start winning now and it starts tonight when they host the Philadelphia Flyers. Despite losing their last six home games, the Leafs are still 16-10-6 at Scotiabank Arena. They have lost their last three and are due for not only a win but one on their home ice. The Leafs have owned the Broad Street Bullies, boasting a 13-1-0 record since 2021, and won both meetings this year. Toronto is too talented of a team for this spiral to continue and will turn things around.
TONIGHT’S PICK: TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS
Sunday NHL Pick
The Calgary Flames have trouble finding the back of the net and that was evident once again last night when they were blanked by the LA Kings, 0-2. Tonight they will be playing back-to-back games when they visit Honda Center and the Anaheim Ducks. The Flames had better bring their A-game because the Ducks are on a roll. Anaheim has won 4 straight and is 7-0 in their last 7 at the Pond. They were also off yesterday so they will be well-rested and on one day’s rest the Ducks are 6-0 in their last 6. Anaheim has won the last two meetings with Calgary and is hot. Ride them ’til they are not.
TONIGHT’S PICK: ANAHEIM DUCKS
