Tuesday NHL Pick

The best in the Pacific, the Anaheim Ducks, will be north of the border tonight to face the worst team in all of hockey, the inept Vancouver Canucks. The Canucks have won the last 4 meetings with the Ducks but trends end. Vancouver is just 8-23-5 at Rogers Arena and Anaheim has the edge in goals scored, goals allowed, etc., etc., etc. The Ducks currently hold a 4-point lead over the Vegas Golden Knights for the top spot in the Pacific with 10 games left. If they want to stay there, they cannot afford to lose to these guys – and they won’t.
TONIGHT’S PICK: ANAHEIM DUCKS

Sunday NHL Pick

If the Tampa Bay Lightning want to keep pace with the Buffalo Sabres for the lead in the Atlantic they need to take care of business tonight when they visit the Saddledome and the Calgary Flames, and they will. Tampa is riding a 3-game road winning streak and has won 3 straight against Calgary including a 5-1 lopsided affair back in November. The Flames’ season is over and the reason for that is an offense that is dead last in the league in scoring and a mediocre at best defense.
TONIGHT’S PICK: TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING

Saturday NHL Pick

The Buffalo Sabres just keep proving they are a force to be reckoned with. The Sabres are 11-1 since the Olympic break and will continue their west coast road trip when they face the Los Angeles Kings this afternoon a Crypto.com Arena. Buffalo has won 6 straight on the road and cruised to an easy 4-1 win back in January against the Kings.
TODAY’S PICK: BUFFALO SABRES

Friday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick

The Miami (Ohio) Redhawks and the Tennessee Volunteers will meet this afternoon in Philly. The Redhawks are a huge dog in this one and that is perplexing. They are not getting respect. They were big dogs against the SMU Mustangs but rolled over them 89-79. They score more points, have the edge in 3-pointers, free throws, and are getting a ton of points. Miami (OH) might even win this thing outright.
TODAY’S PICK: MIAMI (OH) REDHAWKS +11½

Thursday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick

The USF Bulls and the Louisville Cardinals will play a matinée today at KeyBank Center in downtown Buffalo, New York. The Bulls are 4.5-point dogs in this one and they shouldn’t be. USF has the edge in points scored, points allowed, 3-pointers, free throws, and the list goes on.
TODAY’S PICK: UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA BULLS +4½

Wednesday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick

The Miami (OH) Redhawks will make the short trip to Dayton tonight to face the SMU Mustangs in the NCAA Tournament. The Redhawks went 31-0 in the regular season and had a little bump in the road in their last outing against UMass but bounce back tonight. The Redhawks average 90.7 points per game, the Mustangs 84.2, and they have the edge in 3-pointers, free throws, and are getting 6 and the hook.
TONIGHT’S PICK: MIAMI (OH) REDHAWKS +6½
