The Toronto Blue Jays opened a 4 games series yesterday at home against the Texas Rangers, only to lose a tight one 2-1. They will try and even the score tonight when they send Marco Estrada to the hill. Estrada is 1-2 on the season with an ERA of 2.92 and a WHIP of 1.34. The Jays are 7-3 at Rogers Centre in Estrada’s last 10 home starts. The Rangers will counter tonight with Martin Perez getting the start. Perez is 1-2 so far with an ERA of 4.20 and a WHIP of 1.37. Texas is 1-7 in Perez’s last 8 starts and 1-6 in his last 7 road starts. Texas has had trouble with Toronto winning just 7 of the last 22 contests. Holbrook is calling the game behind the dish tonight and the Jays are 5-1 in their last 6 when he calls it, and the Rangers are 1-4 in their last 5 with Holbrook. Toronto needs some bat flips tonight.

The lefty Dallas Keuchel will try to get back on track tonight when he takes the mound for the Astros. Keuchel is 2-3 with an ERA of 4.41 and a WHIP of 1.41. Top prospect Jose Berrios gets the nod tonight for the Twins and he is 0-1 with an ERA of 11.25 and a WHIP of 2.00. Keuchel shines at Minute Maid Park, winning all 15 outings last year and posting an ERA of 1.46. The Twins have trouble with Southpaws, going 1-7 in their last 8 and 3-13 in their last 16 road games against lefties. I Like Houston in this one.
