Friday CFL Pick
The 10-7-0 Winnipeg Blue Bombers travel to Canada’s capital tonight to take on the 8-8-1 Ottawa RedBlacks. The Bombers are 6-2-0 on the road, averaging 30.4 points per game and allowing 26.4 when on foreign turf. The RedBlacks are 2-5-1 at home, averaging 25.8 points per game, giving up 28.0 at TD Place Stadium and are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 home games. On the flip side, Winnipeg has been covering on the road, going 6-1 ATS in their last 7 road games. This line opened at a pick on October 31st and has now moved to Winnipeg laying 3 and you know what that means…
Tonight’s pick:
Winnipeg Blue Bombers -3
Thursday NBA Pick
The Sacramento Kings head down south to Florida to take on the Orlando Magic at Amway Center. The Kings are 2-3 on the young season, averaging 100.8 points per game and allowing 102.6. The Magic are 1-3 on the season, averaging 95.0 points per game and allowing 105.5. Sacramento has the edge in points per game, field goal percentage, free throw percentage, defense and bench, and they are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 in Orlando. I like the Sacramento Kings here, +1 point.
Today’s pick:
Sacramento Kings +1
Wednesday MLB World Series Game 7 Pick
The Chicago Cubs did it. They forced a Game 7 and will try to keep the momentum going tonight when they send Kyle Hendricks to the hill. Hendricks is 17-9, with an ERA of 2.05 and a WHIP of just 0.98. The Cubs are 5-0 in Hendricks’ last 5 road starts and 5-0 in their last 5 when he has 4 days’ rest. The Cleveland Indians will send their ace, Corey Kluber, to the hill tonight and he’s also had a stellar year, going 22-10, with an ERA of 2.86 and a WHIP of 1.05. The Indians are 5-0 in Kluber’s last 5 home starts against a team with a winning record and 6-1 in his last 7 against the NL Central. Flip a coin on this one but I’m sticking with the Cubs.
Tonight’s pick:
Chicago Cubs
Tuesday MLB World Series Game 6 Pick
The Chicago Cubs will try to force a Game 7 when they send Jake Arrieta to the hill tonight at Progressive Field. Arrieta is 19-9 on the season, with a 3.15 ERA and a 1.08 WHIP. In Arrieta’s last outing in Cleveland, he looked sharp in a 5-1 Cubbies win. The Cubs are 4-1 in Arrieta’s last 5 starts when he has 5 days’ rest and are 4-1 in his last 5 starts against the AL Central. Josh Tomlin gets the nod for Cleveland and he is 15-9, with a 4.18 ERA, a WHIP of 1.16 and Tomlin is going on only 3 days’ rest. Joe West is behind the dish tonight and the Cubs are 6-1 in their last 7 when he’s calling it. I like the Cubs’ chances tonight.
Today’s pick:
