The Atlantic 10 Conference tournament is at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and tonight the Richmond Spiders and the George Washington Colonials will square off in what should be a good one. Richmond is 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games overall, 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 at a neutral site, where they average 74.5 points per game and allow 71.0. The Colonials are 0-4 ATS at a neutral site, where they average 62.0 points per game, allow an average of 68.8 and are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 meetings with the Spiders. Richmond won both meetings this year, 84-75 on February 2nd and 77-70 on January 8th. The edge goes to Richmond. The line is moving so I’m taking the Spiders on the money line in this one.

Thursday NBA Pick

The San Antonio Spurs will put their 9-game winning streak on the line tonight when they travel to Chesapeake Energy Arena to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Spurs will be playing back-to-back games after knocking off the lowly Sacramento Kings last night, 114-104. San Antonio will be laying 3 points in this one and they have not been covering. The Spurs are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall, 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games against the Thunder and 3-13 ATS in their last 16 games in Oklahoma City. I’ll take the home dog in this one.

Wednesday NCAA Men’s Basketball Pick

Tonight the Lamar Cardinals and the Southeastern Louisiana Lions square off in the Southland Conference Tournament in Katy, Texas. Lamar is ranked 6th in the Southland Conference, with a record of 18-13, and are 6-4 in their last 10 games. On the flip side, the Lions are ranked 7th in the Southland Conference, with a record of 16-15, and are 4-6 in their last 10 games. The Cardinals have the edge in points per game, field goal percentage, turnovers and bench. The Cardinals won easily over the Lions at home on January 7th, 74-54. Why not again tonight? The line is Lamar -1 so avoid the push and take the Cardinals on the money line.

Tuesday NHL Pick

The Toronto Maple Leafs will try to stop the bleeding tonight when they host another original 6 team, the Detroit Red Wings. The Leafs now find themselves 1 point back for the second Wild Card spot after dropping their last 5 games. Toronto is 6-2-2 in the last 10 meetings with Detroit and won the last contest 4-0 on January 25th in Detroit. Frederik Andersen is expected between the pipes tonight for the Leafs and he is 3-0 with a 1.96 GAA against the Red Wings. Toronto has had 3 days off to heal so they should be well rested. I like their chances in this one.

The San Antonio Spurs are riding a 7-game winning streak but that could be in jeopardy tonight when they play host to the Houston Rockets. Houston has won 8 out of their last 10 games and are a good road team, with a record of 21-11, and they average 114.0 points per game on foreign turf. The Rockets are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 against the Southwest and the visiting team is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 match ups between these two clubs. I’ll take the 3.5 points and the Rockets in this one.
