The Cleveland Browns will try to snap their 4-game losing streak and get their first win today at home when they host the Buffalo Bills. The Browns make bad decisions when it comes to drafting quarterbacks, first Johnny Manziel and now Baker Mayfield. This guy has an attitude and he shouldn’t. All he has done is lead his team to a 2-6 start, is tied in the League with the most interceptions at 12, and has tossed 7 touchdowns. He should just shut up and produce. Buffalo is off to their best start since the Kelly years, at 6-2. The Bills are 3-0 on the road and have covered all 3. Buffalo’s defense is ranked third overall and their pass defense is one of the best in the League. Good luck, Mayfield. On the road, the Bills are surrendering an average of only 12.3 points per game and their offense is averaging 19.7. On the flip side, the Browns are 0-3 ATS at FirstEnergy Stadium, where they are averaging 18.0 points per game and surrendering a whopping 31.7. Buffalo will be getting 3 points in this one and they have covered 4 of the last 5 meetings with Cleveland.
TODAY’S PICK: BUFFALO BILLS +3

Saturday NCAA Football Pick
The Kansas State Wildcats are on a roll and will be spotted 7 points today when they travel to Austin for a match-up with the Texas Longhorns. The Wildcats have won three in a row and are riding high after a 48-41 victory over Oklahoma on October 26th and a 38-10 shellacking of Kansas last week. Kansas State is 2-1 on the road and has a staunch defense, allowing just 20.4 points per game with an offense that is averaging 33.4 points per game. Texas is 3-2 at home and has a prolific offense, averaging 39.1 points per game, but that is offset by a defense that is surrendering an average of 31.5 points per game. The Wildcats cover. They are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games overall and 9-2-1 ATS in their last 12 meetings with the Longhorns. Take the points.
TODAY’S PICK: KANSAS STATE WILDCATS +7
Friday NHL Pick
The Edmonton Oilers have lost two in a row and their potent offense has averaged just 19 goals over their last 10 games, but that won’t last. Look for McDavid and company to get back on track tonight when they host the New Jersey Devils at Rogers Place. The Oilers, who lead the tough Pacific Division with a record of 10-5-2, are always a force at home where they are 5-2-1. The Devils, who are 4-6-4 on the season and 2-4-0 on the road, will be playing back-to-back games after getting drilled last night by the Calgary Flames, 5-2. Edmonton should rack up the tallies tonight because Cory Schneider is expected between the pipes for New Jersey. He is winless at 0-3-1, with a 4.71 GAA and a .847 SV%.
TONIGHT’S PICK: EDMONTON OILERS
Thursday NBA Pick
Both the Miami Heat and the Phoenix Suns are a surprising 5-2 to start the season and they will meet tonight when the Suns host the Heat at Talking Stick Resort Arena. Phoenix has been on a roll, winning 3 straight, and at home they are 3-1, where they are averaging 115.8 points per game and allowing an average of 105.5. Miami is 2-2 on the road, where they are averaging 108.8 points per game and allowing an average of 112.0. The Suns have covered every game thus far, at 7-0 ATS, and will face a Heat team that did not look good in their last outing, getting blown out by Denver 109-89. Phoenix is currently laying 1 and should cover the number but with a money line of only -115, why risk a push?
TONIGHT’S PICK: PHOENIX SUNS M/L

Tuesday NHL Pick
The Ottawa Senators picked up their first road victory last night by knocking off the New York Rangers, 6-2. If the Senators want to make it two straight wins on the road, they had better play flawless hockey tonight because they will be in Brooklyn for a match-up with the red hot New York Islanders. The Islanders have won 9 in a row and during that span they have allowed just 16 goals. Now that’s impressive. New York has dominated Ottawa, winning 5 straight, including a 4-2 victory north of the border back on Oct 25th.
TONIGHT’S PICK: NEW YORK ISLANDERS
Monday NHL Pick
The Nashville Predators will have revenge on their minds when they travel to the Motor City tonight for a match-up with the Detroit Red Wings. Detroit has won 3 in a row against the Preds including the last 2 meetings in Nashville. The Predators sit at 8-4-2 on the season and are expected to have Pekka Rinne defending the cage. Rinne has been outstanding as usual, with a record of 7-0-2 and a 2.19 GAA. The 4-10-1 Red Wings are expected to have Jimmy Howard between the pipes. Howard’s numbers are not good, with a record of 2-6-0 and a 3.67 GAA. Nashville has lost two straight and this is a good opportunity for the Preds to get back on track because the Wings are reeling, losing 10 of their last 11 games.
