Tuesday NHL Pick

Two of the Original 6 square off tonight when the Boston Bruins host the Detroit Red Wings. Detroit is riding a 2-game winning streak but has struggled on the road, losing their last 4, and are 3-7-1 overall away from Little Caesars Arena. Boston will be without their top producer, Brad Marchand, tonight who will be serving a 3-game suspension which will hurt but they should still get this one. The Bruins have won 5 of their last 7, are 7-3-0 at TD Garden, 14-3 in their last 17 against the Red Wings at home, and won easily in their last meeting on November 4th, 5-1.
TONIGHT’S PICK: BOSTON BRUINS

Monday NHL Pick

The Winnipeg Jets snapped their 5-game losing streak on Saturday with an impressive 4-2 road victory over the Calgary Flames. Tonight they will take that momentum to Canada Life Centre when they host the lowly Arizona Coyotes. The Jets boast a 7-2-0-1 home record and should have their way with the Coyotes, who have lost two straight and are 2-9-0-1 on the road. The Jets have won 11 of the last 12 meetings with the Coyotes in Winnipeg and should notch another tonight.
TONIGHT’S PICK: WINNIPEG JETS

Sunday NFL Pick

The 6-5 Cleveland Browns will be on the road tonight to take on the Baltimore Ravens. Baltimore sits at 7-3 on the season but has had the ball bounce their way in most of those wins and that can’t last forever. Ravens QB Lamar Jackson says he is healthy and ready to go but has battled illness all season long and that has to be taking its toll. Cleveland can go toe-to-toe with anybody and have a formidable running attack, which should give Baltimore a run for their money. The Ravens are just 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games as a favorite, while the Browns are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games against a team with a winning record.
TONIGHT’S PICK: CLEVELAND BROWNS +3½

Saturday NHL Pick

With a win tonight at FLA Live Arena, the Florida Panthers will set the all-time record for most home wins (12) to start a season, and guess who is coming to town? The Seattle Kraken. The Kraken’s road troubles continued last night when they were blanked be the Tampa Bay Lightning, 3-0, and are now 1-7-1 on the road. The Panthers are a scoring machine, averaging 3.8 goals per game, and will not be in the best of moods after losing a close one last night to the Washington Capitals, 4-3, in DC.
TONIGHT’S PICK: FLORIDA PANTHERS

Friday NHL Pick

The Seattle Kraken are riding a 2-game winning streak but now take it on the road where they are a dismal 1-6-1-0. Tonight they will be put to the test when they visit Amalie Arena for a matchup with the Tampa Bay Lightning. Great teams always find a way to win despite adversity, and that is what the Bolts are doing. The Lightning are without two of their top performers, Nikita Kucherov and Brayden Point, but are still 11-4-2-1, have won 5 of their last 6, and own a 6-3-1-1 record at Amalie.
TONIGHT’S PICK: TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING

Thursday NFL Pick

The Buffalo Bills seemed to be the team to beat, not only in the AFC but in the NFL, but things have changed. Buffalo has lost 3 of their last 5 and were humiliated at home by the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday in a Keystone Cops-like performance which now has them half a game back of the New England Patriots for the top spot in the East. Weather did play a part in last week’s thumping but that will not be a factor tonight when they take on the New Orleans Saints in the Superdome. The Saints have issues of their own, dropping 3 straight, and have been riddled with injuries. Not only are they without starting QB Jameis Winston, they are likely to be without starting running back Alvin Kamara once again and backup Mark Ingram II, and that’s good for Buff who can’t seem to stop the run. Regardless of their lackluster play of late, the Buffalo Bills are one of the premiere teams in the league and have Josh Allen at the helm, who cannot only deliver through the air, he can run the ball as well. Buffalo is a resilient team. They are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 following an ATS loss and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 on the road. The Bills cannot afford to lose this game and they know it because up next are the New England Patriots followed be the Tampa Bay Bucs. The number is climbing and now Buffalo is 6½. Consider laying it.
TONIGHT’S PICK: BUFFALO BILLS -6½

Wednesday NHL Pick

The Seattle Kraken finally snapped their 6-game losing streak with an impressive 5-2 win at home over the Washington Capitals on Sunday. If they want to make it two in a row, they had better be on their A-game tonight because the Metropolitan-leading Carolina Hurricanes come to town and they are not happy after losing in OT to the San Jose Sharks on Monday. The 14-2-1-0 Canes should be too much for the upstart Krakens to handle, who are just 1-4 in their last 5 at home and 1-4 in their last 5 following a win.
TONIGHT’S PICK: CAROLINA HURRICANES
