The New York Rangers will look to continue their home ice dominance when they host the Los Angeles Kings tonight at MSG. New York has been lethal in Manhattan, with a 12-3-2 record, and will be hosting a Kings team that will be playing back-to-back games after eking one out yesterday against the lowly New Jersey Devils, 3-2. Expected to be between the pipes tonight for New York is Igor Shesterkin and he has been on the money. Shesterkin is 19-4-2 with a 2.07 GAA and a 0.936 SV%. Los Angeles has won 5 of the last 6 meetings with New York but that was then and this is now.
TONIGHT’S PICK: NEW YORK RANGERS

Sunday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick
The Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons will host their Horizon Conference rival, the Youngstown State Penguins, in an early one today at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. PFW has been clicking, winning 2 straight, 5 of their last 6, and own a 7-2 home court record. The Mastodons are averaging an impressive 78.7 points per game in Fort Wayne while surrendering an average of 64.3. The Penguins are just 1-4 over their last 5 and on the road they are averaging 69.6 points per game and allowing an average of 71.6. PFW cruised to a 71-61 victory over Youngstown State back on January 7th in Youngstown, so why should today be any different in Fort Wayne? Depending on where you shop, the line is hovering around PFW -3 or -3½. Don’t sweat the points and consider the Mastodons on the money line.
TODAY’S PICK: PURDUE FORT WAYNE MASTODONS M/L
Saturday NFL Pick
The AFC Divisional Playoff game has the Tennessee Titans hosting the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals have quietly become one of the dominant teams in the NFL and are led by their second year quarterback, Joe Burrow. He proved he is the real deal in last week’s 26-19 victory over the Raiders, going 24/34 with 2 TDs, 244 yards, and no interceptions. Burrow had a stellar regular season, throwing for 4,611 yards, 34 TDs, and had the league’s best 70.4% completion rate. The Titans will see the return of Derrick Henry but the Bengals will be able to contain the King with a rush defense that is allowing an average of just 102.5 yards per game. The Bengals are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall, 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings with the Titans, and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 in Tennessee.
TODAY’S PICK: CINCINNATI BENGALS +4
Friday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick
The Canisius Golden Griffins will look to get back in the Win column tonight when they host the Rider Broncs at Koessler Athletic Center in downtown Buffalo, New York. Rider comes into tonight’s matchup losers of their last 3 and are 1-7 on the road, where they are averaging 63.6 points per game and surrendering an average of 76.1. The Griffins have also lost 3 straight but are a respectable 5-3 at home, where they are averaging 78.9 points per game and allowing an average of 72.3. The numbers indicate a Canisius victory.
TONIGHT’S PICK: CANISIUS GOLDEN GRIFFINS M/L
Thursday NHL Pick
The Philadelphia Flyers’ 9-game losing streak has to end sometime and I see that happening tonight when they host the Columbus Blue Jackets. This is a perfect spot for the Flyers to bring the hammer down. The Jackets are a pathetic 6-12 on the road, just 2-5 in their last 7, and Philadelphia has won the last 4 meetings with Columbus. The Bullies are worth considering.
TONIGHT’S PICK: PHILADELPHIA FLYERS
Wednesday NHL Pick
The Colorado Avalanche will be laying a lot of chalk tonight when they visit the Anaheim Ducks but they should be. The Ducks are in a funk, losing 3 straight, 7 of their last 9 since the break, and will be without some of their heavy hitters: Troy Terry, Cam Fowler, among others. The Avs on the other hand are hot. Colorado has won 8 of their last 9 and are averaging 4.3 goals per game. They are also 6-0 in the last 6 meetings with the Ducks and 4-1 in their last 5 trips to the Pond.
TONIGHT’S PICK: COLORADO AVALANCHE
Tuesday NHL Pick
The Tampa Bay Lightning will take their 3-game winning streak into Crypto Arena tonight for a matchup with the Los Angeles Kings. The Kings will be playing back-to-back games after getting drilled in yesterday’s matinée by the San Jose Sharks, 6-2. Tampa comes in with a 12-5-2 road record and have owned Los Angeles, to say the least. The Bolts are 10-1 in the last 11 meetings, 4-0 in their last 4 trips to LA, and are expected to have one of the best in the business between the pipes, Andrei Vasilevskiy, who is 22-6-3 with a GAA of just 2.14 and a .924 SV%.
TONIGHT’S PICK: TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING
