The bottom feeding Athletics are 34-87 and are expected to have the rookie, Luis Medina, on the hill. Medina is 3-8 with a 5.31 ERA. Baltimore is expected to counter with the veteran, Kyle Gibson. He is 11-7 with a 4.89 ERA, which is too high, but was lights out the last time he faced the Athletics, surrendering just one run over 6-1/3 innings of work, resulting in a 5-1 Baltimore win.
