Wednesday NHL Pick

The Toronto Maple Leafs are underachieving but that is changing because this team is as good as it gets. The Leafs will be hosting the Ottawa Senators tonight and are 6-1 against them at Scotiabank Arena. Enough said.
TONIGHT’S PICK: TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS

Tuesday NHL Pick

The New York Rangers will be in the friendly confines of MSG tonight when they host the Detroit Red Wings. The Rangers are 2-1-0 at home. They are expected to have Jonathan Quick between the pipes and he has been outstanding. Quick is 2-0-1 with a GAA of only 1.42 and a .948 SV%. It doesn’t get much better than that.
TONIGHT’S PICK: NEW YORK RANGERS

Monday NHL Pick

The Toronto Maple Leafs are in need of a win and they will be at home tonight when they face the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Bolts are weary on this long road trip and are just 1-3-1 away from Amalie Arena.

Sunday NFL Pick

The 5-3 Buffalo Bills will have payback on their minds tonight when they visit the 4-3 Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium. The 27-10 loss at home in last year’s playoff game is still fresh in the memory banks and being a 2½ point dog will motivate Buffalo even more. The Bills will also be well-rested, having 9 days off after taking care of the Bucs at home on October 26th. For some reason, the Bills OC, Ken Dorsey, had the bright idea of slowing down Josh Allen and the up tempo Bills offense and that isn’t the way Josh plays the game. Dorsey came to his senses and let Josh be Josh, and what did he do? Allen threw for 324 yards against Tampa with 2 TDs and the Bills cruised to a victory. The Bengals are riding high after knocking off the 49ers last week and have won 3 straight so this will not be a walk in the park for Buffalo. Joe Burrow is getting healthy. He has thrown for 1,513 yards with 10 TDs and has a passer rating of 87.00 but Allen has been better. He has thrown for 2,165 yards with 17 TDs and has a 101.5 passer rating. The Bills should be able to move the ball on the ground against the Bengals, who are mediocre at best against the run game, and if Allen is allowed to play his wide open style of football, the Bills win.
TONIGHT’S PICK: BUFFALO BILLS +2½

Saturday NHL Pick

Two of the NHL’s elite will meet tonight at Rogers Arena when the Vancouver Canucks host the Dallas Stars. The Stars are 7-1-1, 4-0-1 on the road and are riding a three game winning streak. Vancouver matches up well with Dallas. The Canucks are 7-2-1, 3-0-1 at home and are winners of their last two. Depending on where you do your shopping, Vancouver comes in as a slight home dog at +110. They are #1 in the league in scoring, averaging a ridiculous 4.6 goals per game and you know Rogers Arena will be electric.
TONIGHT’S PICK: VANCOUVER CANUCKS

Friday NHL Pick

The Buffalo Sabres have been one of the worst teams in the NHL for years but things have changed in Western New York. The 5-5-0 Sabres are young, talented and believe in themselves, and that is a recipe for winning. After Wednesday’s 5-2 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers, on Broad Street, the Sabres have now won three straight. Tonight Buffalo will face Philadelphia again but the venue has moved to the Sabres home ice at KeyBank Center. The Flyers are reeling after losing three straight and are just 1-2-1 on the road. Consider Buffalo.
TONIGHT’S PICK: BUFFALO SABRES

Thursday NHL Pick

The Vegas Golden Knights will host the Winnipeg Jets tonight at T-Mobile Arena. Vegas has not lost in regulation thus far, boasting a record of 9-0-1. The 4-3-2 Jets are losers of their last two and had better bring their A-game tonight if they want to knock off the champs. Vegas has won the last 5 meetings with Winnipeg and 4 of the last 5 against them on the strip.
TONIGHT’S PICK: VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS
