Sunday NHL Pick

The Vegas Golden Knights were embarrassed in front of their home crowd on Friday, falling to the lowly Buffalo Sabres, 5-2. Tonight they welcome another sub-500 team to the strip, the Ottawa Senators, and they won’t take this one for granted. The 11-14-0 Senators are a dismal 3-5-0 on the road and are riding a 3-game losing streak. The Champs are 20-6-5 and 11-3-2 at T-Mobile Arena. To say Vegas has dominated Ottawa would be an understatement. The Knights have won 8 straight against the Senators and should come out on top tonight.
TONIGHT’S PICK: VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS

Saturday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick

The Richmond Spiders have lost two straight but should get back on track tonight when they host the Charlotte 49ers. The Spiders are a perfect 4-0 at Robins Center. They are averaging 78.0 points per game as opposed to the 49ers’ 66.9. They also have the edge in 3-pointers and rebounds. The line is currently Richmond -4.5 and the Spiders are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 home games but don’t sweat the hook. Play it on the money line.
TONIGHT’S PICK: RICHMOND SPIDERS M/L

Friday NHL Pick

The Carolina Hurricanes return home tonight to face the Nashville Predators after knocking off the Detroit Red Wings last night in the Motor City, 2-1. The Canes and the Preds are mirror images of each other. Nashville is 16-13-0 on the season and Carolina is 16-12-1. The goals for and against are almost equal as is the age, height, and weight of the players. The Canes however are an impressive 8-2-1 at PNC Arena. Carolina is playing a back-to-backer tonight but the players are so well conditioned these days it’s not a big deal anymore.
TONIGHT’S PICK: CAROLINA HURRICANES

Thursday NHL Pick

The 15-10-3 Philadelphia Flyers return home tonight to host their Metropolitan rival, the 14-8-3 Washington Capitals. The Broad Street Bullies have won 4 of their last 5 with the only loss coming in OT to the Nashville Predators in Nashville. Tortorella’s boys are clicking and have won the last two meetings with the Caps. They also have the edge in goals scored and goals against.
TONIGHT’S PICK: PHILADELPHIA FLYERS

Wednesday NHL Pick

The Boston Bruins will be in Newark tonight to face the New Jersey Devils. Boston is 18-5-3 overall and an impressive 8-3-2 on the road but will be without a couple of their heavy hitters tonight, center Pavel Zacha and d-man Charlie McAvoy. The Devils are 14-11-1 but have not played well at the Rock, with a record of 5-6-1. The Bruins have had the Devils’ number. Boston has won 6 straight against New Jersey, 8 of the last 9, and despite the injuries are still worth considering.
TONIGHT’S PICK: BOSTON BRUINS

Tuesday NHL Pick

After last night’s loss to the Colorado Avalanche, the 11-14-3 Calgary Flames have now lost 2 straight and 4 of their last 5. It won’t get any easier for them tonight when they visit T-Mobile Arena and the 19-5-5 Vegas Golden Knights. Vegas has won 3 straight and 5 of their last 6. They are also 10-2-2 on the Strip and are expected to have Adin Hill between the pipes. This guy stops everything. Hill is 10-2-2 with a GAA of only 1.87 and a .935 Sv%. Consider the Champs.
TONIGHT’S PICK: VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS

Monday NHL Pick

The Colorado Avalanche have lost 2 straight and will look to get back on track tonight when they host the Calgary Flames. The Flames are 5-7-2 on the road and have lost 3 of their last 4. They are also in a tailspin, starting to move players in hopes of salvaging the season and it’s not working. The Avs own a 9-4-0 record at home. They have won 3 straight against the Flames and 5 of the last 6 overall. If Colorado is to get back on track, it should be tonight.
TONIGHT’S PICK: COLORADO AVALANCHE
