Ottawa is riding a 2-game winning streak and looked really impressive against the Toronto Maple Leafs in their last outing, blanking them 3-0. The Senators are also 5-2-0 at home and have had the Flyers’ number, winning 6 of the last 8 meetings. Ottawa is a diamond in the rough. Keep an eye on them.

After getting blanked by the Ottawa Senators, 3-0, last night in front of their home crowd, the Toronto Maple Leafs will look to redeem themselves tonight when they visit Capital One Center and the Washington Capitals. There’s a chance Toronto could see the return of their superstar, Auston Matthews, which would spark their offense. Either way, the Leafs have owned the Caps, winning the last 4 meetings, 8 of the last 9, and are 4-1 in their last 5 trips to DC.

The 7-7-1 Sabres have won 3 straight, including a 6-1 thumping of one of the league’s best, the New York Rangers, at MSG. The 4-9-2 Habs have lost 6 straight and are a dismal 1-5-1 on the road. Buffalo has won the last two meetings with Montréal, and they score more goals per game and give up less.
