The New Jersey Devils have lost 4 straight and 8 of their last 10 but they will get back on the rails tonight when they host the Boston Bruins. The Devils are a talented team and are 13-8-4 at the Rock. Everybody has a losing streak but losing streaks don’t last forever.
TONIGHT’S PICK: NEW JERSEY DEVILS
Month: January 2025
Tuesday NHL Pick
The Dallas Stars will be at home tonight when they host the Colorado Rockies. When the Stars are in the Big D, they are always worth a consideration. Dallas is 17-6-1 at home.
TONIGHT’S PICK: DALLAS STARS
Monday NCAA Football Pick
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are #5 in the nation and are an 8.5 point dog in the Championship Game tonight against the #6 Ohio State Buckeyes. Really? I’ll take the Irish all day long.
TONIGHT’S PICK: NOTRE DAME FIGHTING IRISH +8½
Sunday NFL Pick
The Buffalo Bills are going to whack the Baltimore Ravens today and this is why. They always win at Rich and have the best QB on the planet behind center, Josh Allen. Moreover, they have 80 thousand Mafia guys behind them. Forget about it.
TODAY’S PICK: BUFFALO BILLS
Saturday NHL Pick
The 26-15-6 New Jersey Devils have lost 2 straight and 7 of their last 9 but get back on track today when they host the 20-20-6 Philadelphia Flyers in an early one at the Rock. At home, the Devils are 13-6-4 and are expected to have Jacob Markström between the pipes. Markström is 21-8-5 with a GAA of only 2.20. Enough said.
TODAY’S PICK: NEW JERSEY DEVILS
Friday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick
Two of the Mountain West elite will square off tonight when the New Mexico Lobos host the Boise State Broncos at the Pit. New Mexico is 14-4, 6-1 in conference play, and second in the Mountain West. Boise is right on their tail in the third spot at 13-5 and 5-2 in conference play. Teams do not like visiting the Pit. It puts fear in them and rightfully so. New Mexico has always had success there and this year is no different. The Lobos are 9-1 as the home team and are averaging 83.2 points per game vs. the Broncos’ 78.7. They also have the edge in 3-pointers, rebounds, blocks and steals. New Mexico, when at the Pit, is always worth a strong consideration. The line is currently Lobos -3.5 with a money line around -175.
TONIGHT’S PICK: NEW MEXICO LOBOS M/L
Thursday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick
The Marist Red Foxes used to be the bottom feeders of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, but things have change and in a big way. Marist is #1 in the MAAC and will take their game on the road tonight to New Jersey to face the Saint Peter’s Peacocks. Marist is 12-2 on the season and a perfect 5-0 in conference play. St Peter’s sits in the #11 spot in the MAAC with a record of 6-7 and is 1-4 in conference play. The Peacocks are just 2-4 over their last 6 games. They did win their last outing but that was against the Canisius Golden Griffins and a good high school team can beat those guys. The Red Foxes are on a roll, winning 8 straight and 9 of their last 10. They should cruise to a victory tonight. The line is currently Marist -1.5 which is fishy. It should be higher, but the Red Foxes are still the side to consider on the money line.
TONIGHT’S PICK: MARIST RED FOXES M/L
