The New York Mets will open a 3-game set tonight at Citi Field with the Philadelphia Phillies and the Mets are hot. New York is coming off a 4-game sweep of the St. Louis Cardinals and is expected to have Tylor Megill on the hill. Megill is 2-2 with an excellent ERA of only 1.40, a 1.34 WHIP, and is 3-1 lifetime against Philadelphia with a 2.51 ERA. The Phillies are expected to send Aaron Nola to the hill. The once dominant hurler is no more. Nola is 0-4 with a bloated ERA of 6.65 and a 1.66 WHIP. The Mets have won the last two meetings with the Phillies and are 9-1 in Queens this season.
