The Philadelphia Phillies will face the Tampa Bay Rays tonight at Steinbrenner Field. Jesús Luzardo is on the hill for Philadelphia. Luzardo is 3-0 with a 1.94 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP. Ryan Pepiot will get the nod for Tampa. Pepiot is 2-4 with a 4.23 ERA and a 1.41 WHIP. The Phillies are going for a sweep of the Rays tonight and they should do it.

The Detroit Tigers, who have the best record in the American League, will face the Colorado Rockies tonight at Coors Field. Jackson Jobe will get the nod for Detroit. Jobe is 2-0 with a 3.38 ERA and a 1.33 WHIP. Colorado is an expected to counter with Chase Dollander, who is 2-3 with a bloated ERA of 6.48 and a 1.52 WHIP. The Tigers are the better team tonight, 1 through 9, and should get the win.
TONIGHT’S PICK: DETROIT TIGERS

The San Diego Padres have won 5 straight but that ends tonight when they open a 3-game set with the New York Yankees in the Bronx. The Yankees are 11-7 at the Stadium and are averaging over 5 runs per game. Carlos Rodón is expected to get the nod for the Yankees. The southie Rodón has been in the zone and will shut down the Friars bats. The Bombers at home are always the side to consider. 
TONIGHT’S PICK: NEW YORK YANKEES

The Philadelphia Phillies will go for a sweep of the struggling Arizona Diamondbacks today at Citizens Bank Park. The Snakes, who are 3-7 over their last 10, are expected to send Eduardo Rodríguez to the hill. Rodríguez is 1-3 with a bloated ERA of 6.06 and a 1.44 WHIP. The Phillies are going to light this guy up.
TODAY’S PICK: PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES

The Cincinnati Reds took care of business last night against the Washington Nationals, whacking them 6-1, and they will do the same tonight at Great American Ball Park. Nick Lodolo will start for the Reds. He is 3-2 with an ERA of only 2.25 and a 0.86 WHIP. Trevor Williams is expected to take the bump for the Nationals and his numbers are not good, at 1-3 with an elevated 5.70 ERA and a 1.53 WHIP. The Reds, who are averaging over 5 runs per game, will take advantage of Williams.
