The Cleveland Guardians are on a roll, winning 7 of their last 8, and sit 3.5 games back of the Seattle Mariners for the last wild card spot in the AL. The Guardians took game one of their 3-game set with the Chicago White Sox last night at Progressive Field, blanking them 4-0, and this seems to be a trend for Cleveland. They just have Chicago’s number. Tonight the White Sox are expected to send Davis Martin to the bump. He comes in at 6-9 with a 4.03 ERA and a 1.28 WHIP. The Guardians are expected to counter with Parker Messick, who is 2-0 with a 1.93 ERA and a 1.33 WHIP. Cleveland is clicking just at the right time with only 15 games left in the regular season. Keep an eye on them.
