It’s Game 3 of the ALCS and after losing the first two games in Toronto, the Blue Jays need to win tonight when they face the Mariners in Seattle. Shane Bieber is on the hill for the Blue Jays and he has good movement on his ball. He will mow down the Mariners tonight.

It’s all on the line tonight when the Seattle Mariners host the Detroit Tigers in Game 5 of the ALDS, with the winner heading north of the border to face the Toronto Blue Jays. The expected starting pitchers will be Tarik Skubal for the Tigers and George Kirby for the Mariners. Kirby last faced the Tigers in Game 1 and he held his own, yielding just 2 runs on 6 hits and striking out 8 over 5 innings of work. Skubal is one of the best in the business, if not the best, and we know what he can do. However, this year against the Mariners he is winless in 3 starts and his ERA was an elevated 4.58 over that span. Seattle is at home where they are tough to beat and they are not intimidated by Skubal, knowing they can get to him and have proven so.
