Monday NHL Pick

The Winnipeg Jets looked impressive on Saturday when they cruised to a 5-1 victory over a really good Washington Capitals team. Tonight they will try to build off of that win when they host the Ottawa Senators at Canada Life Centre. The Jets have had the Sen’s number, winning six of the last seven meetings, and are catching an Ottawa team that has just two wins in their last eight tries.
TONIGHT’S PICK: WINNIPEG JETS

Sunday NFL Pick

The New England Patriots will seek their 11th straight win and the AFC East crown when they host the Buffalo Bills today in Foxboro, but it will be a challenge. The Patriots have won 10 straight but their schedule has been relatively easy with the exception of the Bills who were out of sync when they fell 23-20 to New England back on October 5th. The Bills’ Josh Allen is going to be a factor both running and passing, that is a given, and running back James Cook has been off the charts, rushing for 1,308 yards. Buffalo is healthy and has won the AFC East title the last 5 years. It’s their crown and they will not relinquish it without a fight.
TODAY’S PICK: BUFFALO BILLS M/L

Saturday NHL Pick

The Dallas Stars will host the Florida Panthers tonight at American Airlines Center. The 21-6-5 Stars have lost 5 straight to the champs so they will be extra motivated tonight to end that trend. Dallas at home has not been kind to visitors with a record of 10-4-1 and that doesn’t bode well for the Panthers who are just 5-7-0 on the road. Dallas scores more goals per game than Florida and gives up a lot less.
TONIGHT’S PICK: DALLAS STARS

Friday MLB Pick

The 13-11-6 Chicago Blackhawks are coming off a 3-0 shutout of the New York Rangers and will have bravado on their side tonight when they visit a really bad St. Louis Blues team. The 11-14 -7 Blues have lost two straight, are just 5-7-4 at Enterprise Arena, 30th in the league in scoring, and 31st in goals allowed. The upstart Blackhawks won easily against the Blues in their last meeting in October, 8-3, and should come out on top in this one.
TONIGHT’S PICK: CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS

Thursday NHL Pick

The top two seeds in the Metropolitan Division will square off tonight when the Washington Capitals host the Carolina Hurricanes. The Caps have been on a roll, winning 7 of their last 8, and are 4-0 in their last 4 at Capital One Arena. These two teams match up well but Washington has a slight edge in goals scored and goals allowed. The Caps are also expected to have Logan Thompson between the pipes and he has been outstanding. Thompson is 13-6-2 with a GAA of only 1.96. The Caps beat the Canes in Carolina 4-1 back on November 11th so why not again tonight on their home turf?
TONIGHT’S PICK: WASHINGTON CAPITALS

Wednesday NHL Pick

Two Original 6 teams will square off tonight when the New York Rangers head to the Windy City to take on the Chicago Blackhawks. New York becomes a different team when they take it on the arches. The Rangers are just 3-8-3 at MSG but on the road they are 12-4-1. The Blackhawks have been struggling, losing 2 straight, 8 of their last 10, and do not fare well against New York.
TONIGHT’S PICK: NEW YORK RANGERS
