The Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots have been in this situation before. New England was the victor back in 2015 winning Super Bowl XLIX (28-24). Seattle could have and should have won that game, but they didn’t. The Seahawks have not forgotten 2015 and will be extra-motivated to put the screws to Vrabel and company – and they should. The Patriots are lucky to be where they are. They had one of the weakest schedules in all of football and if Bo Nix played for Denver in the AFC Championship game, the Patriots would be at home watching. Seattle’s run defense is the best there is and their lethal pass rush is going to rattle the young Drake Maye. He will mistakes and when he does Seattle will pounce. The Seahawks got to this point by blowing out a really good San Francisco 49ers team and then knocking off the MVP Matthew Stafford’s LA Rams.
