The AL East leading Tampa Bay Rays will host the bottom dwelling AL East Baltimore Orioles tonight in Game 1 of their 3-game series. The Rays swept the O’s in Baltimore earlier this year, outscoring them 32-14. Ryan Yarbrough, (3-3, 3.95 ERA) is expected to get the nod for the Rays and pitched a gem in his last turn. Yarbrough tossed a complete game and outdueled Gerrit Cole and the New York Yankees, resulting in a 9-2 thumping of the Bombers. Keegan Akin is expected to get the start for the Orioles and has yet to record a win. Baltimore is just 1-9 in their last 10 meetings with the Rays and 5-21 in their last 26 in St. Pete.
