Monday NHL Pick

The Philadelphia Flyers have won 4 of their last 5 and will look to remain hot when they host the struggling New York Rangers tonight on Broad Street. The Rangers have lost 7 of their last 9 and are 0-6 in their last 6 road games. The Broad Steet Bullies are still alive in the playoff hunt and cannot afford to lose to a team like the hapless Rangers if they want to see the postseason and they know it. Philadelphia has the edge in goals scored, goals allowed, and will take care of business tonight.
TONIGHT’S PICK: PHILADELPHIA FLYERS

Sunday NHL Pick

The 37-16-10 Minnesota Wild and the 42-10-9 Colorado Avalanche will play a matinée today at Ball Arena. Colorado has the best record in hockey and usually comes out on the winning end, but they do have one thorn in their side and that is the Minnesota Wild. The Wild have won 2 of the 3 meetings this year and won the last meeting just last week, 5-2, in Colorado. Minnesota has won 2 straight, 8 of their last 10, and has played well on the road with a record of 19-9-3. The Wild will be a big dog this afternoon which is a good thing and are definitely worth considering.
TODAY’S PICK: MINNESOTA WILD

Saturday NHL Pick

The Buffalo Sabres are playing some of the best hockey in the NHL. They have won five straight and outscored their opponents 19-8 over that span. The five straight wins weren’t against bottom feeders. They were against some of the top echelon in the league. They knocked off Tampa on the road 6-2, Pittsburgh 5-1 on the road, and Vegas at home 3-2. The Sabres are now tied with the Tampa Bay Lightning for the top spot in the Atlantic and show no signs of slowing down. Tonight Buffalo will welcome in the Nashville Predators to KeyBank Center. The Preds had better be clicking on every cylinder or Buffalo will make them pay. The Sabres are a formidable 18-8-3 in western New York, have the edge in goals scored, goals against, and took care of business against the Predators in Nashville on January 20th, cruising to a 5-3 victory. Buffalo is not to be taken lightly and could very well be Stanley Cup bound.
TONIGHT’S PICK: BUFFALO SABRES

Friday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick

The Miami of Ohio Redhawks are the only unbeaten team in the nation and will finish out the regular season tonight on the road against the Ohio Bobcats. The Redhawks head coach Travis Steele stated he wants to remain unbeaten and be the first MAC team in history to do so and will have his boys pumped and ready to go. The Bobcats are currently laying 5.5 and if they want to crush that number, they will. Miami (OH) is a scoring machine, averaging 90.3 points per game as opposed to Ohio’s 77. The Redhawks cruised to an easy 90-74 victory over the Bobcats on February 13th and will do the same tonight.
TONIGHT’S PICK: MIAMI (OH) REDHAWKS -5½

Thursday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick

The USF Bulls will be a road favorite tonight when they take it on the arches to FedExForum to face the Memphis Tigers. South Florida is currently laying 6.5 and they should be. They are #1 in the AAC and have won 7 straight. Memphis sits in the ninth spot in the conference and are on a 6-game losing streak. The Bulls can light up the scoreboard, averaging 88.3 points per game, while the Tigers average 74.3. The Bulls throttled the Tigers in their last meeting on February 19th, 87-66, and tonight should be no different. South Florida not only has the edge in points scored, but they also have the edge in 3-pointers, free throws, rebounds, steals, blocked shots, and the list goes on. The Bulls are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 and if they want to cover the nut tonight they will.
TONIGHT’S PICK: USF BULLS -6½

Wednesday NHL Pick

The Seattle Kraken will have payback on their minds when they host the St. Louis Blues tonight at Climate Pledge Arena. The Kraken fell to the Blues, 5-1, just last week but that was in St. Louis. Now they face them on their home ice. The Kraken have won 2 straight, 7 of their last 10, and own an impressive 16-9-5 record in Seattle. The Blues have just 3 wins in their last 10 tries and have been clunkers on the road with a record of 8-17-3. Seattle evens the score tonight.
TONIGHT’S PICK: SEATTLE KRAKEN

Tuesday NHL Pick

The Buffalo Sabres are no longer the laughingstock of the NHL. Buffalo has become one of the best in the game and will be riding a 3-game winning streak when they host the Vegas Golden Knights tonight at KeyBank Center. Buffalo is coming off a 6-2 thumping of the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday in Tampa and the Bolts had better start looking over their shoulder because the boys from the Nickel City are right on their tail for the lead in the Atlantic. Vegas comes to town losing their last two and have lost four of their last five to Buffalo. The Sabres are 18-11-3 at home with the edge in goals scored, goals against, and are the side to consider tonight.
TONIGHT’S PICK: BUFFALO SABRES
