The Sam Houston State Bearkats will take their perfect 6-0 record into northern Nevada tonight to take on the Nevada Wolf Pack and that is where it ends. The Pack play in the Mountain West Conference which is light years above the Western Athletic, they are 3-0 at home and as always, put a quality product on the court. This year is no different.

Sunday NFL Pick
The Cleveland Browns will be getting 3½ points today when they host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Browns went toe to toe with the best team in football, the Buffalo Bills, in their last outing and all they need to do today is feed Nick Chubb to get under the number. Chubb is the best back in the business, with 923 yards on 174 carries, which equates to 5.3 yards per carry. Forget about it.
TODAY’S PICK: CLEVELAND BROWNS +3½
Saturday NHL Pick
Today’s pick is the Vegas Golden Knights over the Vancouver Canucks and we will leave it at that.
TONIGHT’S PICK: VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS
Friday NHL Pick
The Buffalo Sabres are a home dog tonight when they host the New Jersey Devils. The Sabres have won two straight after losing, forever, and hockey is a streaky sport. The Devils have come back down to earth and are not as dominant as their record reflects.
TONIGHT’S PICK: BUFFALO SABRES
Thursday NFL Pick
The New England Patriots are currently getting 2½ points when they visit the Minnesota Vikings tonight. The Pats have the edge by far, in coaching as well as defense. New England is allowing just 302.8 yards per game and that will be the difference maker.
TONIGHT’S PICK: NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS +2½
Wednesday NHL Pick
The Detroit Red Wings will have extra incentive tonight when they host the Nashville Predators at Little Caesars Arena. The Red Wings have lost 6 straight to the Predators and 5 of the last 6 to them at home so it’s time to turn the table. This is not the same old Detroit club. The Red Wings are 9-5-4 overall, 5-2-2 at home, and average 3.3 goals per game. The Predators are 9-8-2, 3-5-0 on the road, and average only 2.7 goals per game. The expected goalie for Nashville is Juuse Saros. He is 7-6-2 with a 3.06 GAA and a .905 SV%. On the flip side, the Red Wings are expected to have Ville Husso between the pipes. He is 7-2-3 with a 2.55 GAA and a .916 SV%. Advantage Detroit.
TONIGHT’S PICK: DETROIT RED WINGS
Tuesday NCAA Football Pick
The Ohio Bobcats will be in the friendly confines of Peden Stadium tonight when they host their conference rival, the Bowling Green Falcons. Bowling Green is 6-5-0 on the season, 3-2 on the road, and 4-6-1 ATS overall. Ohio is 8-3-0 on the season, a perfect 5-0 at home, and they have been a covering machine. The Bobcats are 8-3-0 ATS overall and have nailed the number in 7 straight games. Ohio’s offense will give Bowling Green’s defense fits, averaging 443.0 points per game, and they are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 in Athens.
