Wednesday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick

I’m leaning towards the 16-10 Nevada Wolf Pack at home tonight over the 13-12 Utah State Aggies. The Aggies come into tonight’s game with road record of 4-7 and they are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 on the road. Nevada has been tough at home this year, posting a 9-2 record. The Wolf Pack are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games overall and 7-2 ATS in their last 9 versus the Mountain West. Nevada has the edge in points per game, free throws, defense, rebounding and bench. If the Pack can keep the turnovers to a minimum, they should cover the -4.5.

Tuesday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick

The Davidson Wildcats look to continue their home court dominance when they host the Rhode Island Rams tonight at Belk Arena. The Wildcats come into this contest with a 13-1 home record and are averaging 83.6 points per game at Belk Arena. Rhode Island brings in a 2-7 road record and are averaging only 67.9 points away from home. The line is Davidson -3.5, I don’t like the hook in this one, so I’m taking the Cats M/L -165. Two ACC teams clash today at the Carrier Dome in upstate when the 18-7 Pittsburgh Panthers take on the Syracuse Orange. The Orange usually prevail at home with a 12-3 record. I’m taking the Q minus 3.

Friday NHL Pick

The Buffalo Sabres get their star forward, Evander Kane, back tonight when they travel to Columbus to take on the Blue Jackets. Kane was benched one game for missing practice due to a night of festivities following the NBA All-Star Game in Toronto. The Sabres’ rookie sensation, Jack Eichel, has been hot, getting points in three straight games. The Jackets are coming off of 2 days’ rest and they can get rusty, winning just 1 out of their last 9 games in that situation. Evander Kane needs to redeem himself. Look for him to have a big night. I like the Sabres as a dog pick tonight.

Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick

If the Niagara Purple Eagles are going to win another game this year it will be at home tonight against the Marist Red Foxes. Marist has been awful on the road, winning just 2 out of 12 contest. Both these teams are equally as bad but I’m giving the edge to Niagara for being at home and beating Marist 69-66 on January 28th.I like Niagara -200 on the Money line in this one.
