After dropping 2 out of 3 over the weekend to the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Toronto Blue Jays will try to get back on track tonight when they travel north to take on the San Francisco Giants. Aaron Sanchez takes the mound tonight for the Jays and he has been lights out on the road, going 2-0 and posting a stingy 0.86 ERA. Just the opposite can be said for the Giants starter Jake Peavy. He was blasted in his last outing and is 1-3 on the season with an ERA of 9.00 and a 1.73 WHIP. The Giants are 1-4 in Peavy’s last 5 outings and the Jays are 6-2 in their last 8 meetings with San Francisco.

The Chicago White Sox send another hard throwing leftie to the mound today, Jose Quintana, as they look to sweep the Minnesota Twins. Quintana has been lights out. The Washington Nationals will try and even the score when they send Max Scherzer to the hill today to face Brad Lackey and the Chicago Cubs. Max got off to a rough start but was dominant in his last outing against St. Louis, hurling 9 Ks and surrendering no runs in 7 innings pitched.
