The Texas Rangers visit Rogers Centre today to take on the Blue Jays for the deciding game of their 5 game series. The Rangers just needed 1 win at home to take the series from the Jays but they didn’t do it. The momentum has now switched to the Toronto Blue Jays. Cole Hammels is on the hill for the Rangers and as always, he has been on his mark. Stroman is pitching for Toronto and he has been equally as sharp, winning his last 4 and posting an ERA of 1.64 and a WHIP of 0.91 over his last 3 starts. Toronto is 4-1 in Stroman’s last 5 home starts and 14-6 in their last 20 meetings with the Rangers. The Jays have the edge in bullpen, hitting, power, defense, and bench.
