I’m going with the Angels again tonight at home against the Indians. Shoemaker is on the hill and has been stellar over his last three games with an ERA of 0.96 and a WHIP of 1.07. Angels play well at home. They are 12-4 over their last 16 and Cleveland is 2-6 over their last 8 against the Halos. Nelson is behind home plate and the home teams are 27-11 in his last 38 games. Trout and company should get this one.

Scherzer’s on the hill and I don’t see him having two bad outings in a row. Nats are 7-2 in Scherzer’s last 9 starts as a favorite. Marlins are 2-7 in Haren’s last 9 starts. I like the visiting team in this one.
