The Los Angeles Angels will go for a 3-game sweep of the San Francisco Giants today at Oracle Park and they won’t do it. The expected starter for the Halos is Ben Joyce and he should not be in the bigs. Joyce has a bloated ERA of 12.27 and a 3.00 WHIP over just 3-2/3 innings of work. Pathetic. Take the Giants.

With yesterday’s win over the Boston Red Sox at Fenway, the New York Yankees have 50 wins and it’s only mid-June. Impressive. Tonight they will go for another one against their archrival and they should get it. Southpaw Carlos Rodón will be on the hill and he has been throwing flames. Rodón is 9-2 with an ERA of 2.93 and a 1.05 WHIP.

The Kansas City Royals were lucky to get a win yesterday against the Bronx Bombers and now they have to travel to Los Angeles to face one of the best in the majors, the Dodgers. Good luck.

The New York Yankees will go for a 4-game sweep of the Kansas City Royals today at the K. The Bombers have outscored the Royals, 25-8, over the first three games and will have Nasty Nestor Cortes tapping the rubber. Cortes has a 3.68 ERA with a WHIP of 1.12 and that is enough to get the job done.

Are the St. Louis Cardinals going to lose two in row against the Pittsburgh Pirates at home? Not with Sonny Gray on the hill. He is 7-4 with a 3.21 ERA, a 1.07 WHIP, and he doesn’t lose at Busch Stadium.
