The Toronto Blue Jays are one win away from winning their third World Series title, but this series is not over yet. The Dodgers’ bats need to wake up, jump on the Jays early, and Yoshinobu Yamamoto, as he did in Game 2, will take care of the rest.
TONIGHT’S PICK: LOS ANGELES DODGERS

The Los Angeles Dodgers fell to the Toronto Blue Jays last night, 6-2, and now the series is knotted up at two apiece. Tonight the Dodgers cannot afford to lose at Chavez Ravine with the next two games in Toronto or it’s over and they know it. It’s as simple as that.
TONIGHT’S PICK: LOS ANGELES DODGERS

The Los Angeles Dodgers will have momentum on their side when the World Series switches to Chavez Ravine for the next 3 games. The Dodgers looked impressive in Game 2 with their 5-1 victory over Toronto and now have the Jays just where they want them on their home turf. The Dodgers have dominated at the Stadium all year, with a record of 57-30 including the postseason, and they will have Tyler Glasnow toeing the rubber. Glasnow has been in the zone. In 13.1 innings of work this postseason, he has an ERA of only 0.68, a 1.12 WHIP, and Los Angeles is 6-0 in his last 6 starts. You take the Jays out of Toronto, and they are not that impressive. Toronto is a mediocre 43-43, including the postseason, away from Rogers Centre. The Jays will give the nod to the 41-year-old Max Scherzer and the Dodgers lethal bats will be able to get to him. In 5.1 innings of work this postseason, Scherzer has a 3.18 ERA and a 1.29 WHIP.
TONIGHT’S PICK: LOS ANGELES DODGERS

The Toronto Blue Jays will have their hands full when they host the Los Angeles Dodgers tonight in Game 1 of the World Series. The Dodgers made it look easy to get to this point by sweeping the Milwaukee Brewers, easily dismantling the Philadelphia Phillies, and also sweeping the Cincinnati Reds. LA is expected to give the nod to southpaw Blake Snell and he has been almost unhittable this postseason. Snell is 3-0 with a nasty ERA of 0.86 and a WHIP barely visible at 0.52. He last faced Toronto back in August, pitching 5 scoreless innings and the Dodgers went on to a 9-1 rout. Toronto had to fight and scratch to get to the Finals and are expected to have the rookie, Trey Yesavage, on the hill. Yesavage was 2-1 in the postseason with an elevated 4.20 ERA, a 1.07 WHIP, and has never face the likes of Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, and the list goes on. Good luck Toronto, you are going to need it.
TONIGHT’S PICK: LOS ANGELES DODGERS

The Toronto Blue Jays and the Seattle Mariners are knotted up at 2-2 in the ALCS. This afternoon they will play Game 5 at T-Mobile Park and the Mariners need to get this win or they are in major trouble. The series will head back to Toronto on Sunday where the Jays are dangerous. Bryce Miller will be on the hill for Seattle and he has been in the zone.
TODAY’S PICK: SEATTLE MARINERS

The Seattle Mariners were embarrassed last night at home by the Toronto Blue Jays, but they get their revenge tonight. Luis Castillo will be on the hill for Seattle, and he delivers. In his last turn against the Detroit Tigers, Castillo was throwing flames. Toronto is expected to counter with the 41-year-old Max Scherzer who has been nursing a thumb injury. The Mariners will light him up.

It’s Game 3 of the ALCS and after losing the first two games in Toronto, the Blue Jays need to win tonight when they face the Mariners in Seattle. Shane Bieber is on the hill for the Blue Jays and he has good movement on his ball. He will mow down the Mariners tonight.
