The Calgary Flames travel to Honda Center tonight to take on the Anaheim Ducks. The Flames’ record in Anaheim has been dismal, winning just 1 of their last 26 there. I don’t see that trend changing tonight.

The Preds have been held scoreless in their last 2 games, getting blanked by Blue Jackets 4-0 on Friday and again 4-0 on Saturday by the Wild. It won’t get any easier for them tonight with Lundqvist in the net for New York.

LA Kings are down south, taking on the Carolina Hurricanes. Kings have been stellar on the road with a 5-2 record. On the flip side, the ‘Canes are 2-5 at home. Quick is between the pipes with a 4-1 over his last 5 against them.

The 7-11-1 Colorado Avalanche stumble into Verizon Center to take on Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals. Holtby is between the pipes for the Caps and he’s 10-4 with a 1.94 GAA. How do you bet against that? Taking the Caps…

The Montreal Canadiens travel to Brooklyn tonight and make their debut at the New York Islanders’ new home, Barclays Center. Montreal has dominated the Islanders. They are 4-0 in their last 4 meetings, and they’re 4-0 in their last 4 at the Islanders’ old home at Nassau Coliseum. Islanders have not done well against eastern teams, going 0-4 in their last 4 against the Atlantic Division and 1-6 in their last 7 against the Eastern Conference. The Habs have the edge in offense, defense, power plays, penalty killing, face offs and discipline. It’s confirmed that Carey Price is back tonight and in between the pipes for Montreal.

Washington Capitals visit the Detroit Red Wings tonight. The Caps have been idle since Friday so they should be well healed and rested for this road contest. Alex Ovechkin has some extra incentive tonight as he tries to surpass Sergei Federov to be the all-time Russian-born scoring leader. The Red Wings have been stumbling at home, posting a 2-5 record over their last 7 at Joe Louis Arena. The Capitals have the edge in offense, defense, power plays, penalty killing, face offs and discipline. I like the Caps in this one.

The Los Angeles Kings travel to Philadelphia tonight to take on the Broad Street Bullies. The road team is 7-1 over the last 8 between these 2 clubs. The Kings have dominated the Eastern Conference, going 6-1 over their last 7. It’s just the opposite for Philadelphia, who is only 1-10 over their last 11 against the Pacific Division. The Flyers are having trouble finding the back of the net, scoring only 14 goals over their last 9 games. It won’t get any easier for them tonight with Jonathan Quick between the pipes for Los Angeles. I like the road team in this one.
