Monday NHL Pick

The Buffalo Sabres will host their Atlantic rival tonight, the Tampa Bay Lightning. These two teams do not like each other and that is a fact. The Sabres are just two points back of the Bolts for the lead in the Atlantic and have won the last two meetings. Expect a slug fest tonight like the last time they met.
TONIGHT’S PICK: BUFFALO SABRES

Saturday NHL Pick

The Detroit Red Wings are very much alive in the playoff hunt and will not lose today when they visit the New York Rangers at MSG. The Rangers are officially eliminated from the postseason and are a dismal 12-19-7 on their home ice. After today’s matinée they will be 12-20-7. The Red Wings take care of business today.
TODAY’S PICK: DETROIT RED WINGS

Tuesday NHL Pick

The Buffalo Sabres cannot afford to lose tonight at home the New York Islanders and they won’t. Enough said!
TONIGHT’S PICK: BUFFALO SABRES

Sunday NHL Pick

The Buffalo Sabres had better be sleeping with one eye open because the Tampa Bay Lightning are just two points back of them for the lead in the Atlantic and they have two in the bush. Today the Lightning will be hosting the Nashville Predators and they have their number. The Lightning have won three straight against the Predators, 8 of the last 9, and are 22-12 at home. The Bolts don’t come cheap today but are worth considering.
TODAY’S PICK: TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING

Thursday NHL Pick

The Philadelphia Flyers are still very much alive in their pursuit for a Wild Card berth. They sit just 5 points back of the Ottawa Senators for the second spot with 12 games left but they will have to take care of business at home tonight when they host the Chicago Blackhawks on Broad Street. Chicago has been eliminated from the postseason and has nothing to play for but pride and being a spoiler. The Flyers have struggled at home of late, so they are due for a win at Xfinity Mobile Arena. The Bullies are 4-0 in their last 4 against the Western conference, beat the Blackhawks 3-1 in their last meeting in Chicago, and get it done tonight.
TONIGHT’S PICK: PHILADELPHIA FLYERS

Wednesday NHL Pick

The Buffalo Sabres return home tonight to KeyBank Center to face the Boston Bruins. The Sabres and the Bruins could very well meet in the first round of the playoffs and Buffalo will send Boston a message. You don’t mess with the boys from western New York. The Sabres are 22-9-3 at home and will be well-rested, having two days off, and they are 4-0 in their last 4 in this situation. The Bruins will be playing back-to-back games after falling to the Toronto Maple Leafs last night, 2-4, so fatigue could be an issue. Buffalo cruised to an easy 4-1 victory in their last meeting back in December and will do the same tonight.
TONIGHT’S PICK: BUFFALO SABRES

Tuesday NHL Pick

The best in the Pacific, the Anaheim Ducks, will be north of the border tonight to face the worst team in all of hockey, the inept Vancouver Canucks. The Canucks have won the last 4 meetings with the Ducks but trends end. Vancouver is just 8-23-5 at Rogers Arena and Anaheim has the edge in goals scored, goals allowed, etc., etc., etc. The Ducks currently hold a 4-point lead over the Vegas Golden Knights for the top spot in the Pacific with 10 games left. If they want to stay there, they cannot afford to lose to these guys – and they won’t.
TONIGHT’S PICK: ANAHEIM DUCKS
