The Red Wings have lost 6 straight to the Predators and 5 of the last 6 to them at home so it’s time to turn the table. This is not the same old Detroit club. The Red Wings are 9-5-4 overall, 5-2-2 at home, and average 3.3 goals per game. The Predators are 9-8-2, 3-5-0 on the road, and average only 2.7 goals per game. The expected goalie for Nashville is Juuse Saros. He is 7-6-2 with a 3.06 GAA and a .905 SV%. On the flip side, the Red Wings are expected to have Ville Husso between the pipes. He is 7-2-3 with a 2.55 GAA and a .916 SV%. Advantage Detroit.
TONIGHT’S PICK: DETROIT RED WINGS

The Winnipeg Jets will be a home dog tonight when they host the struggling Carolina Hurricanes. The Canes usually get the better of the Jets but they have lost 2 in a row, 5 of their last 7, and it’s always tough when you visit Canada Life Centre. Winnipeg is 10-2 in their last 12 home games and 5-2 in their last 7 overall. Good value on the Jets tonight.
