The 25-18-5 Tampa Bay Lightning are coming off a successful 3-game road trip and will return home tonight to the friendly confines of Amalie Arena to face the 23-20-3 Arizona Coyotes. The Lightning have been hot, going 6-1 in their last 7, and when they take the ice in Tampa that usually represents a win, where they are 15-5-3. The Coyotes are not the team of old and are great at home but when you take them out of the desert they are just 8-11-3. The Coyotes have won the last two meetings but both were in Arizona so it’s payback time for the Bolts.

The Boston Bruins will be at home tonight when they host the Colorado Avalanche. When you take the Avs out of the mountains, they are vulnerable. Boston is 13-3-3 at TD Garden and notch another one tonight.

The Seattle Kraken had a nice run but it’s crashing down and they will lose another one tonight when they visit the New York Rangers. The best in the Metro have won two straight against the Kraken and after tonight it will be three.

The Boston Bruins will play an early one today at TD Garden against the New Jersey Devils and they will win.

The New York Rangers have lost four in a row but get back on track today when they head home to MSG to take on the Washington Capitals. New York is 13-6 at home and will win today.

The 21-17-5 Tampa Bay Lightning are always a good side to consider when they are at home at Amalie Arena and that’s where they will be tonight when they host the 14-26-1 Anaheim Ducks. The Bolts are 13-5-3 on the Gulf side and have won three straight against the Ducks. Enough said.

The New York Rangers will look to get back on the rails when they head to St. Louis tonight to take on the 20-18-1 Blues. The 26-11-2 Rangers have lost two straight and are not happy. The Metropolitan Division leaders should bounce back tonight. This is a team you never look forward to facing on your home ice and especially after they were manhandled by the Canucks in their previous outing, falling 6-3. The Rangers are 13-5-2 on the road and 9-1 in their last 10 games following a loss of 3 goals or more.
