The Toronto Maple Leafs are the hottest thing on ice and will seek their 7th straight victory tonight when they visit the Saddledome for a date with the Calgary Flames. The Flames are also on a roll, ripping off 4 in a row, but will be playing back-to-back games and that is not a position you want to be in when the Leafs come to town. Toronto is almost as good on the road as they are at home, with a record of 13-6-2, and will be well-rested after Monday’s win over the Carolina Panthers. They also have Auston Matthews, who has been off the charts, notching another 2 goals on Monday which now brings his total on the season to 31. The Leafs are 4-1 in the last 5 meetings with the Flames overall and 4-0 in their last 4 trips to Calgary. The Leafs are hot, ride them ’til they’re not.

Boston is 15-8-1 at home, 6-2 in their last 8 at TD, and won 15 of the last 17 at home against the Penguins. The Bruins are a slight favorite in this one and the home team is 24-7 in the last 31 meetings between these two clubs.

The Edmonton Oilers are hot, winning 4 straight, and tonight they should notch another one when they visit the Ottawa Senators. McDavid and company are 9-1 in their last 10 meetings with the Sens and 6-0 in their last 6 in Canada’s capital.

The New York Rangers are in need of a win, after losing their last two, and they will get it today when they host the Seattle Kraken. The Rangers are 13-4-2 at MSG. The Kraken have struggled not just at home, but on the road as well with a record of 5-11-2. Consider New York in this one and they are coming cheap.
