The St. Louis Blues will travel to Scotiabank Saddledome tonight to take on the Calgary Flames. The Blues are tough on the road, with a record of 6-2-1-0, and have dominated the Flames, going 8-3 in their last 11 meetings, and 4-1 in their last 5 trips to Calgary.
TONIGHT’S PICK: ST. LOUIS BLUES

Two of the original six teams, the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Boston Bruins, will meet north of the border tonight at Air Canada Centre. The Leafs have been tough at home, with a record of 6-3-0-0, and are 5-2 in their last 7 games against the Atlantic Division. Mike Babcock is still being vague about Auston Matthews’ return but he didn’t skate yesterday so I doubt that we will see him tonight. On the flip side, the Bruins are 1-3-0-1 on the road, 1-5 in their last 6 games against the Atlantic Division, and 0-4 in their last 4 meetings with Toronto. Two key players for Boston, Brad Marchand and Noel Acciari, will be game time decisions. With or without Matthews, I like Toronto’s chances in this one.
TONIGHT’S PICK: TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS

Two of the top teams in the NHL will square off tonight when the Tampa Bay Lightning travel to Staples Center to take on the Los Angeles Kings. The Lightning will be playing back-to-back games after knocking off San Jose last night 5-1 at SAP Center so fatigue might be a factor. The Kings boast the best defense in the league and are expected to have Jonathan Quick between the pipes. Quick is tough to score on, with a 2.06 GAA, and a .937 SV%. Tampa is expected to go with Peter Budaj, who has a 4.00 GAA, and a .855 SV%. The Lightning are 1-4 in their last 5 trips to Los Angeles so consider the Kings in this one.
TONIGHT’S PICK: LOS ANGELES KINGS

The Pittsburgh Penguins have lost two in a row and who would they rather have visit PPG Paints Arena to get out of their funk other than the Arizona Coyotes? No one. Arizona is 2-12-2-0 on the season, with a road record of 1-7-1-0, and they are 1-5 in their last 6 trips to Pittsburgh. Take the Champs.
TONIGHT’S PICK: PITTSBURGH PENGUINS

The Minnesota Wild will travel to TD Garden tonight to take on the Boston Bruins. The Wild is a good dog bet tonight. Minnesota is 14-6 in the last 20 meetings with the Bruins, 8-2 in their last 10 trips to Boston and the Bruins pesky Brad Marchand is not likely to lace up.
TONIGHT’S PICK: MINNESOTA WILD

The Los Angeles Kings will return home tonight to Staples Center after a 6-game road trip to host the Toronto Maple Leafs and payback will be on their minds. The Kings suffered their first regulation loss to the Leafs, 3-2, on October 23rd in Toronto. Los Angeles is off to a great start at 9-2-1-0 and are 4-0-1-0 at Staples Center. Toronto is 8-5-0-0 and 4-2-0-0 on the road, and will be playing back-to-back games after knocking off Anaheim last night at Honda Center, 3-1. The home team is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings between these two clubs and Jonathan Quick is expected between the pipes for the Kings. If anyone is going to slow down the Leaf’s potent offense, he will, with a .942 SV% and a GAA of 1.89.

The Vegas Golden Knights are winners of their last 5 games but all those wins were in Nevada. Tonight they are in Brooklyn to take on a Islanders team that is 3-0-0-1 at home. The party ends tonight for the Golden Knights.
