The Sacramento Kings will host the bottom-feeding Phoenix Suns today in a matinée at Golden 1 Center. The Suns are just 4-24 on the road and after Friday’s loss to the Warriors, they have now lost 13 in a row – not good. The Kings have been on a roll at home, winning 4 of their last 5, and are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games at Golden 1 Center. That’s impressive. Today will be payback for Sacramento after falling to Phoenix on January 8th, 115-111. The line is currently Sac – 9.5. Consider laying it.

The Sacramento Kings have won 3 of their last 4 home games and will be laying 3 tonight when they host the Miami Heat at Golden 1 Center. The Kings are not the pathetic squad they used to be, with a record of 28-26, and they have a legitimate shot of making the playoffs after a 12-year absence. Sacramento sits at 17-11 at home, averaging 114 points per game and allowing an average of 113.6. Miami is a respectable 14-11 on the road, where they are averaging 106.2 points per game and allowing an average of 105.4, but they have struggled against the Kings recently. The Heat have lost their last 3 meetings against the Kings, including a home loss back in October, 123-113. Sacramento has been a covering machine at home, going 8-1 ATS in their last 9, but this should be a tight game so with a money line of only -150, why sweat the points?

If the New York Knicks are going to win another game it might today because they will be hosting the Memphis Grizzlies in a matinée at MSG. The Knickerbockers have now lost 12 in a row but the Griz are also pathetic, losing 3 straight and are just 8-10 on the road. Believe it or not, New York will have the edge in this match-up in points per game, free throw percentage, rebounding, turnovers and bench. Run with the Knicks.

The Sacramento Kings will be glad to get back to Golden 1 Center tonight after going 2-4 on their recent road trip. Sac will be hosting the Atlanta Hawks who are coming off a big win over the Los Angeles Clippers. Even though the Hawks beat a really good Clipper team, I wouldn’t get too excited. They are still 16-33 on the season and 8-20 on the road. Sacramento sits at 25-25 with a home record of 14-10. The Kings destroyed the Hawks in Atlanta back in November, 146-115, and will have the edge in points per game, field goal percentage, defense, turnovers and bench. The line is currently Sacramento -5.5 and who knows where it will end up? I like the Kings on the money line.

The Brooklyn Nets will be spotted 10.5 points tonight when they travel to TD Garden to take on the Boston Celtics. The Nets are the real deal. Brooklyn has won 6 straight and 8 of their last 10, and they have also been covering the number. They are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 overall and, on two days’ rest, they are 8-1 ATS in their last 9. The Nets won the last meeting with the Celtics on January 14th, 109-102. Take the points and run with Brooklyn.

The Miami Heat will be at MSG tonight to take on the hapless New York Knicks. New York has dropped 8 in a row and are just 4-16 on the season at home. The morale in the Knicks’ locker room is not good, as the standoff between coach David Fizdale and center Enes Kanter continues. The Heat are a respectable 12-11 on the road and annihilated the Knicks back in October, 110-87. Take the Heat on the money line in this one.
