The High Point Panthers and the Arkansas State Red Wolves will meet in the CBI Tournament tonight on a neutral court in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Panthers are a scoring machine and they showed it again last night when they crushed Cleveland State, 93-74. High Point is averaging 84.5 points per game and outscoring their opponents by an average of 10.3 points. I don’t think Arkansas State has a chance in this one. The Panthers score a lot more per game than the Red Wolves, give up less, and also have the edge in free throws and rebounds. Depending on where you do your shopping, the line has been floating around High Point -2.5 with a money line of -140.

The USF Bulls will be on their home court tonight when they host the VCU Rams in the NIT Tournament in Tampa. The Bulls have been on a roll, going 8-2 over their last 10 and averaging 78.2 points per game. On the flip side, the Rams are 6-4 over their last 10, averaging 71.1 points per game. As the home team, USF is an impressive 15-2. You know for certain Yuengling Arena will be packed to the rafters with Bulls supporters and USF will not let them down. Currently the line is Bulls -3.5 with a money line of only -165 so it makes no sense to sweat the points.
TONIGHT’S PICK: UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA BULLS M/L

The #12 seed James Madison Dukes and the #5 seed Wisconsin Badgers will square off tonight in a late one at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Going into the tournament, there was no one hotter than James Madison. The Dukes are riding a 13-game win streak, finishing the regular season with 31 wins, and I don’t care what conference you play in, that’s impressive. They also finished the season by ripping Arkansas State to shreds, 91-71. On the other hand, the Badgers fell to Illinois, 93-87, in their last outing and will have their tail between their legs entering tonight’s game. The Dukes are the real deal and are currently getting 5.5. Consider them.

The Nevada Wolf Pack and the Dayton Flyers will square off in the NCAA tournament today in Salt Lake City. Being in Salt Lake favors the Wolf Pack since Reno is a lot closer to Utah than Dayton so you know the arena will be filled with Pack fans. Nevada was also hot down the stretch, winning 8 of their last their 10. The Wolf Pack has the edge in points scored per game, 3-pointers, free throws, rebounds, steals, and blocked shots. The line is currently Nevada -1.5 with a money line of only -120.

The Florida Gators and the Auburn Tigers will meet this afternoon in the SEC Tournament Final. The Gators have the edge in points scored, 3-pointers, free throws, rebounds, and steals. They clobbered the Tigers in their last meeting in February, 81-65, and they are getting points.

The San Diego State Aztecs and the New Mexico Lobos will meet today in the Mountain West Tournament at the Thomas and Mack Center in Vegas. We know the Lobos can light it up, that’s a given, but the Aztecs stingy D will shut them down like they did in their last meeting. The curs are going down today.

The University of South Florida Bulls’ winning streak came to an end on Saturday, but the Tampa boys start another one today when they square off against the East Carolina University Pirates at a neutral site in Fort Worth. The Bulls score more, give up less, and won the last meeting on January 31st, 71-60. Lay it.
