The 14-7 PFW Mastodons finally got back on track in their last outing, with a road victory over the NK Norse, 63 -58, and return home tonight to host the 10-11 Milwaukee Panthers. Winning fuels winning and the Mastodons should take care of business tonight. PFW is 8-2 as the home team, are averaging 82.6 points per game, and allowing 71.1. The Panthers are 2-7 when away from UW. They are averaging 79.1 points per game and allowing 80. When PFW is on, they can light up the scoreboard and I expect they do just that against a shaky Panthers’ defense. The line is currently PFW -3.5 with a money line of -165 so forget the points and consider the Elephants on the money.

The 18-3 New Mexico Lobos will be at home tonight to take on the 14-6 Boise State Broncos. The Lobos are the real deal. They have not lost at The Pit this year and are coming off a total annihilation of a really good Nevada Wolf Pack team, 89-55. The Lobos are also 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following an ATS win while the Broncos are 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 overall. The line is currently New Mexico -10.5 and they have been blowing out everybody who gets in their way. Lay it.

The Quinnipiac Bobcats will take their 6-game winning streak to Fairfield Connecticut today for a matchup with the Fairfield Stags. These are the best two in the Metro Atlantic Athletic. Quinn is #1 with a record of 15-4 and Fairfield sits in the #2 spot at 12-7. The Bobcats have played well on the road, at 6-3. They average more points per game than the Stags and have the edge in free throw percentage, rebounds, blocked shots, and are currently getting 2.5.

The Niagara Purple Eagles will host their Metro Atlantic Athletic foe, the Marist Red Foxes, tonight at Gallagher Center in Lewiston, New York. These two teams have similar records, with Niagara coming in at 9-9 and Marist at 9-7, but the Purple Eagles are hot and the Red Foxes are not. Marist has only 2 wins in their last 7 tries and are just 1-5 ATS in their last 6. On the other hand, Niagara has won 2 straight, 6 of their last 7, and are averaging 76.4 points per game as opposed to Marist’s 64.2. The line is currently Niagara laying 2.5 with a money line of only -135 so you don’t mess with points in this situation.

The USF Bulls will look to remain hot when they head to Philadelphia tonight to take on the Temple Owls. The Bulls have won 3 straight and 9 of their last 10. On the other hand, the Owls have been just the opposite, losing 4 straight and 8 of their last 10. USF beat Temple earlier this year in Tampa, 76-68, and have the edge in points scored, points allowed, 3-pointers, and free throws. USF is currently laying 1.5 in this one but why worry about points when the Bulls money line is only -125.
TONIGHT’S PICK: UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA BULLS M/L

The Richmond Spiders are the hottest team in the Atlantic 10 and will be in North Carolina today to take on the Davidson Wildcats. The Spiders have won 7 straight and 7 of the last 10 meetings with the Wildcats. This game will be decided by defense and Richmond has the edge in that. The Spiders are hot and getting points. Ride them ’til they are not.
