Two teams from Richmond, Virginia will square off tonight when the VCU Rams host the Richmond Spiders. This is technically an away game for Richmond but not really. There will be as many Spider fans in attendance as Rams. Richmond is averaging 73.5 points per game as opposed to VCU’s 64.7. They will also have payback on their minds after losing a close one to the Rams back on January 29th, 64-62, and they are getting 2.5 points.

The Eastern Michigan Eagles will be hosting the Buffalo Bulls in an early one today. Buffalo is on a roll, winning 4 straight, and during that span they have put up 368 points. Are you kidding me? They also faced the Eagles just a week ago and put a beating on them, 102 to 64.

The San Diego State Aztecs don’t score a lot of points but they don’t need to. They have the best defense on the planet and that will be on display tonight when they host the Utah State Aggies. At Viejas Arena, the Aztecs surrender an average of just 54.7 points per game and are 12-1 at home. Lay the nickel and take San Diego State.

The Buffalo Bulls will be hosting the Ball State Cardinals in an early one today in Western New York. The Bulls are laying a lot of chalk but they can cover it. Buffalo can light up the scoreboard and they showed their offensive prowess in their last outing against Eastern Michigan, blowing them out, 102-64. The home team is 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings.

The Akron Zips will have payback on their minds tonight when they host the Kent State Golden Flash. The Zips fell to the Golden Flash back on January 14th, 67-55, in Kent, Ohio, so if you don’t think they want this one, think again. The Zips are 10-1 at The JAR and overall are averaging 71.5 points per game and allowing an average of 62.7. Excluding neutral sites, the Flash are 4-4 away from the MAC Center and overall are averaging 70.7 points per game and allowing 64.1. Will this be a tight one? More than likely. The Quinnipiac Bobcats will look to end their 3-game skid tonight when they visit Webster Bank Arena to face the Fairfield Stags. The Bobcats should feel confident going into this matchup, having already beat the Stags this year back on January 16th, 72-66, and are catching a Stags team that is struggling as well. Fairfield has lost 2 straight, 8 of their last 10, and are a dismal 3-6 on their home court. Quinn, who is getting 5 points, should be able to at least get under the number, averaging 73.7 points per game as opposed to Fairfield’s 69.8. In the last 17 meetings, the road team is 11-5-1 ATS and Fairfield is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games.

The Temple Owls will be in Tampa tonight to take on the South Florida Bulls. The 13-7 Owls are 3rd in the American Athletic Conference, 6-3 in conference play, and average 67.3 points per game.
