The Cornell Big Red will be a road favorite tonight when they visit the Princeton Tigers and they should be. Big Red and the Tigers met just two weeks ago, and Cornell ran away with it cruising to an easy 87-64 win. The Big Red is a scoring machine, averaging 91.1 points per game, and the Tigers just 69.4. Cornell has won 4 of their last 5 and are coming off another blowout win, taking care of business on the road against the Columbia Lions, 88-67. Princeton will have their work cut out for them tonight.

The Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons will be on the road tonight to face the Green Bay Phoenix. The Phoenix sit in the third spot in the Horizon League at 9-6 in conference play and the Mastodons are right behind them in the fourth spot with a record of 8-6 in conference play. The Mastodons are currently getting 1.5 points and should at least get under the number. These two teams match up well. Both defenses are allowing an average of around 79 points per game but PFW has the edge in points scored at 79.2 points per game as opposed to Green Bay’s 75.1. The Mastodons lost the first meeting with the Phoenix this year and they will be extra motivated to even the score.

The New Mexico Lobos will be a road dog tonight when they visit the Grand Canyon Antelopes. The Lobos have lost their last two but should get back on track tonight. The Antelopes and Lobos last met on January 13th and this game was a not even close, with New Mexico embarrassing Grand Canyon in an 87-64 thumping, so why not again tonight?

Two of the bottom dwellers in the Horizon League will square off tonight when the IU Indy Jaguars host the Milwaukee Panthers at the Jungle. The Panthers have won 11 straight against the Jags but that is going to end. IU Indy is averaging 84.2 points per game and Milwaukee is averaging 76. The Jags also have the edge in 3-pointers, free throws, blocked shots, and steals. IU Indy is currently getting 1.5 points and is catching a Milwaukee team that has lost 4 straight.

The top seed in the Missouri Valley, the Belmont Bruins, will be in Peoria tonight to face the #3 seed Bradley Braves. The Bruins are on a roll, winning 9 straight, and cruised to an easy victory over the Braves on January 1st, 88-78. The Bruins are a scoring machine, averaging 83.4 points per game, and are deadly on 3-pointers. Belmont is also 12-2 in conference play and Bradley is 9-5. The Braves will have to be in the zone tonight and play flawless basketball if they want to come away with a win. The line is currently Belmont -2 and the hook, with a money line of -160. Don’t sweat the points.

The Richmond Spiders will take it on the arches today when they travel to Rhode Island to face the URI Rams. The Spiders lost a close one to the Rams, 69-68, just two weeks ago so they will have payback on their minds this afternoon. The Spiders are currently getting 5.5 and are the side to consider. Richmond has the edge in points per game, 3-pointers, free throws, and rebounds.

The Belmont Bruins will be a road favorite tonight when they head to Chicago to take on the UIC Flames. Belmont is #1 in the Missouri Valley, 11-2 in conference play, and is also hot, winning 8 straight. UIC sits in the 4th spot in the Valley at 8-5 in conference play and lost their last outing to Murray State, 81-74. The Bruins can light up the scoreboard, averaging 84 points per game as opposed to the Flames’ 75.1. Belmont should come out on top and cover the number.
