Thursday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick

The 9-20 Quinnipiac Bobcats and the 12-19 Rider Broncs hook up tonight on neutral turf at Times Union Center in Albany, New York. The Broncs have the edge over the Bobcats in points per game, field goals, free throws, defense and turnovers. On January 24th, Rider put a beating on the Bobcats, winning by a score of 75-52. Why should it be any different tonight?

Tonight’s pick:

Rider Broncs -5

Tuesday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick

The Ohio Bobcats take their 4-5 road record to Akron tonight to take on the Zips. Akron is a perfect 13-0 at home this year. The Zips are averaging 80.3 points per game and allowing 66.2 on their home court. On the flip side, Ohio is averaging 74.8 points on the road and allowing 77.7. The Zips and Bobcats met on February 2nd and Akron won easily, 80-68. I’m siding with the Zips and laying the 5.5.

Tonight’s pick:

Akron Zips -5.5

Saturday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick

We’ve hit 4 straight, let’s make it 5. Let’s go to West Point where the 18-11 Army is hosting the 14-14 Leigh. Army beat them on December 30th, 88-82. This line is moving. It was a pick ’em yesterday and right now it’s -2 Army. I’m backing our Cadets.

Today’s pick:

Army -2

Friday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick

It’s Ivy League Friday today and I’m leaning towards the Brown Bears at home over the Dartmouth Big Green. The line on this game is 1 and has been flip flopping back and forth but wherever it lands, I think the Bears will cover. Brown is averaging 76.2 at home and giving up 74.9. Dartmoutb is coming into tnis game on the road averaging 66.5 points per game and allowing 75.2. The numbers say Brown.

Today’s pick:

Brown Bears +1

Thursday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick

The IPFW Mastodons travel to Macomb, Illinois to face a Summit rival, the Western Illinois Leathernecks. The Mastodons are ranked number one in the Summit and come into this game with a 22-7 record. The Leathernecks are ranked 9th in the Summit and have a 9-16 record. IPFW can score, averaging 78.5 points per game as opposed to the Leathernecks who are averaging just 67.4 points per game. The Mastodons are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 against Western Illinois and beat them on January 31, 88-67. Why should tonight be any different?

Tonight’s pick:

IPFW Mastodons -3.5

Wednesday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick

I’m leaning towards the 16-10 Nevada Wolf Pack at home tonight over the 13-12 Utah State Aggies. The Aggies come into tonight’s game with road record of 4-7 and they are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 on the road. Nevada has been tough at home this year, posting a 9-2 record. The Wolf Pack are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games overall and 7-2 ATS in their last 9 versus the Mountain West. Nevada has the edge in points per game, free throws, defense, rebounding and bench. If the Pack can keep the turnovers to a minimum, they should cover the -4.5.

Today’s pick:

Nevada Wolf Pack -4.5

Tuesday Men’s NCAA Basketball Pick

The Davidson Wildcats look to continue their home court dominance when they host the Rhode Island Rams tonight at Belk Arena. The Wildcats come into this contest with a 13-1 home record and are averaging 83.6 points per game at Belk Arena. Rhode Island brings in a 2-7 road record and are averaging only 67.9 points away from home. The line is Davidson -3.5, I don’t like the hook in this one, so I’m taking the Cats M/L -165. Remember the early tip-off today at 6 PM Eastern.

Tonight’s pick:

Davidson Wildcats -165
