The Buffalo Bulls will look to snap their 3-game losing streak tonight when they visit the Ball State Cardinals. Both of these teams are not the elite of the Mac, but Buffalo looked impressive last week when they went toe-to-toe against one of the best teams in the conference, the Northern Illinois Huskies. The Cardinals have been on the skids as well, losing two straight and have a weak run defense, and that will be a problem. The Bulls can run the ball, averaging 199.1 yards per game, and can score, averaging 31.6 points per game. Buffalo is currently getting 6½ in this one and the dog is 6-0 ATS in the last 6 meetings.

The 7-3 Kansas State Wildcats’ 4-game winning streak will be on the line today when they host the 8-2 Baylor Bears. Not only have the Bears won the last three meetings with K State, they will be pumped after knocking off Oklahoma last week, 27-14, a team the Wildcats lost to on October 2nd. Baylor is averaging 453.9 yards per game on offense and has one of the best running attacks in the nation, averaging 237.8 yards per game. The Bears are 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 games as a road dog and the Wildcats are 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 games against teams with a winning record.

The 6-3-0 Northern Illinois Huskies will be a home dog tonight when they host the 5-4-0 Ball State Cardinals. Consider the Huskies +2.5 in this one. They are 3-1-0 at home, 5-3-1 ATS on the season, and after an ATS loss they are 9-2-0 ATS in their last 11. On the flip side, the Cardinals are 3-6-0 ATS on the season, 3-9-0 ATS in their last 12 as a favorite, and just 1-8-0 ATS in their last 9 meetings with the Huskies.
TONIGHT’S PICK: NORTHERN ILLINOIS HUSKIES +2.5

The Alabama Crimson Tide know how to win Championships and I expect them to notch another one tonight over the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Tide not only have the best receiver on the planet, Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith, they also have a quarterback named Mac Jones who has thrown for 4,036 yards. If Bama can contain the Buckeyes formidable running game, they win easily.
TONIGHT’S PICK: ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE -8

The Ohio State Buckeyes could be short some key players due to the coronavirus, when they face the Clemson Tigers tonight in the Sugar Bowl, and that’s not good when you have to face the best player in college football, quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Lawrence was spectacular as always in his last outing against Notre Dame, passing for 322 yards with 2 touchdowns and 90 yards rushing. The Tigers have won the last four meetings against the Buckeyes and have been a covering machine in bowl games, going 10-2 ATS in their last 12.
TONIGHT’S PICK: CLEMSON TIGERS -7

Take the Houston Cougars and lay the points. The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors are not good on the mainland.
TODAY’S PICK: HOUSTON COUGARS -9.5

The first of the two bowl games today, the New Orleans Bowl, will have the 7-5 Georgia Southern Eagles pitted against the 5-4 Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. The Bulldogs did not look good in their last outing against TCU. They were blown out, 52-10, and will have trouble today slowing down the Eagles’ relentless running attack that is racking up an average of 262.4 yards per game. Couple that with a stellar defense that is allowing an average of only 333.5 yards per game, the Eagles are the side to consider here.
