The Arizona Cardinals should be able to get under the number tonight in the NFC Wild Card game with the Los Angeles Rams. The Cardinals are currently getting 3½ points and took care of business at SoFi Stadium back on Oct 3rd, knocking off the Rams 37-20. Arizona is also 18-6-2 ATS in their last 27 road games and could see the return of All-Pro defensive end J.J. Watt, who has been out since Week 7 with a shoulder injury. The Rams finished the season 12-5 but were just 2-5 against teams that were playoff contenders and are 1-5 ATS in the last 6 against teams with a winning record.

The Buffalo Bills will be laying a lot of chalk today when they host the Atlanta Falcons but they will cover. Buffalo is the better team on both sides of the ball and are 7-1-1 ATS in their last 9 against teams with a losing record. Don’t let the number scare you.
TODAY’S PICK: BUFFALO BILLS -14½

The Buffalo Bills will have payback on their minds today when they head to Foxboro for a matchup with the New England Patriots. The Bills fell at home to the Patriots in their last meeting, 14-10, but expect a different outcome today. Buffalo got back on track last week with a convincing 31-14 victory over the Carolina Panthers, while New England’s 7-game run came to an abrupt end with a 27-17 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Buffalo is by far the better team on both sides of the ball and they have Josh Allen at the helm. The Bills destroyed the Patriots the last time they visited Foxboro, winning 38-9, and are 8-3-2 ATS in their last 13 as a road dog. With the Patriots at home, the calls will not go the Bills way and that’s just the way it is in this league, but if they play a squeaky clean game and Buffalo’s OC, Brian Daboll, lets Allen loose, the Bills come away with a victory.

Losing is not an option for the Pittsburgh Steelers, if they want to see the post-season, and I expect they will come out on top today when they host the Tennessee Titans. Tennessee is not the same team without RB Derrick Henry and that has been evident over their last three games. The Titans have only one win in their last three, with the solo win coming against the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars. The two losses were a thumping by the New England Patriots and a loss at home to the inept Houston Texans. The Steelers are always tough at Heinz Field, have won the last three meetings with the Titans, and Big Ben can still get it done.

Tom Brady has always been a thorn in the side of the Buffalo Bills and that is who they will be facing today when they visit Raymond James Stadium for a matchup with the Tampa Bay Bucs. Buffalo cannot afford to lose this game if they want to keep pace with the surging New England Patriots and they know it. The Bills’ defense is allowing an average of just 165.3 yards through the air and they should keep Brady and Gronk in check. Buffalo is also 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a loss and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as a dog.

The New England Patriots are hot, but nothing lasts forever, and they will have a dose of reality tonight when they visit the Buffalo Bills. Rich Stadium will be eclectic with 80,000 Western New Yorkers and Buffalo has Josh Allen. Enough said.

The 6-5 Cleveland Browns will be on the road tonight to take on the Baltimore Ravens. Baltimore sits at 7-3 on the season but has had the ball bounce their way in most of those wins and that can’t last forever. Ravens QB Lamar Jackson says he is healthy and ready to go but has battled illness all season long and that has to be taking its toll. Cleveland can go toe-to-toe with anybody and have a formidable running attack, which should give Baltimore a run for their money. The Ravens are just 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games as a favorite, while the Browns are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games against a team with a winning record.
