Thursday NFL Pick

The Buffalo Bills seemed to be the team to beat, not only in the AFC but in the NFL, but things have changed. Buffalo has lost 3 of their last 5 and were humiliated at home by the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday in a Keystone Cops-like performance which now has them half a game back of the New England Patriots for the top spot in the East. Weather did play a part in last week’s thumping but that will not be a factor tonight when they take on the New Orleans Saints in the Superdome. The Saints have issues of their own, dropping 3 straight, and have been riddled with injuries. Not only are they without starting QB Jameis Winston, they are likely to be without starting running back Alvin Kamara once again and backup Mark Ingram II, and that’s good for Buff who can’t seem to stop the run. Regardless of their lackluster play of late, the Buffalo Bills are one of the premiere teams in the league and have Josh Allen at the helm, who cannot only deliver through the air, he can run the ball as well. Buffalo is a resilient team. They are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 following an ATS loss and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 on the road. The Bills cannot afford to lose this game and they know it because up next are the New England Patriots followed be the Tampa Bay Bucs. The number is climbing and now Buffalo is 6½. Consider laying it.
TONIGHT’S PICK: BUFFALO BILLS -6½

Sunday NFL Pick

Cam Newton will be at the helm today when the Carolina Panthers host the Washington Football Team so you know Bank of America Stadium will be electric. Newton does make a difference and that was evident last week when Carolina went to the desert and knocked off one of the best teams in football, the Arizona Cardinals. Washington had a rare win last week against a really good Tampa Bay team but even Brady and the Bucs can have an off day. The WFT is just 1-3 on the road, 3-6 overall, and will have to face Cam Newton and a healthy Christian McCaffrey without one of their best defensive players, Chase Young. Good luck.
TODAY’S PICK: CAROLINA PANTHERS M/L

Sunday NFL Pick

The Las Vegas Raiders were once again blindsided with yet another off the field incident but if any team knows how to deal with it they do. The Raiders are atop the AFC West at 5-2-0, are 2-1 on the road, and were clicking going into their bye week with a 2-game winning streak under their belt. Today they will be in New Jersey to face the 2-6 NY Giants. New York’s offense has been lethargic to say the least and Saquon Barkley’s return is in question today after missing the last three games with an ankle injury. The Giants are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games against a team with a winning record and a dismal 7-20-1 ATS in their last 28 in East Rutherford. The best way to deal with a tragic event is band together and that’s what the Raiders will do.
TODAY’S PICK: LAS VEGAS RAIDERS -3

Sunday NFL Pick

After a tough loss on the road to the Tennessee Titans and coming off a bye week, the 4-2 Buffalo Bills will be ready to put a beating on someone in front of the home crowd and that someone is the 1-6 Miami Dolphins. The Bills have won 6 straight against their AFC East rival, averaging 38.7 points per game including a 35-0 blowout of the Fins earlier this year in Miami. The Dolphins are a mess and their problems are too numerous to list. The weather in Buffalo is expected to be 52-degrees at kickoff, overcast with light winds, and very little chance of rain – perfect conditions for Allen and company to do some damage. The Bills are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 home games and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 against teams with a losing record. The chalk is high in this one obviously, but if the Bills want to cover the 14 they will.
TODAY’S PICK: BUFFALO BILLS -14

Sunday NFL Pick

The New England Patriots are a better team than their 2-4 record reflects. They went toe-to-toe last week with the Dallas Cowboys, losing in OT, 35-29, and took the Tampa Bay Bucs to the brink two weeks prior, losing a close one, 19-17. Today the Patriots will seek their first win of the season at Gillette Stadium and will have the 1-4 New York Jets coming to town. The Patriots already put a beating on the Jets earlier this year in Jersey, 25-6. They are 6-2 ATS in the the last 8 meetings and 4-1-1 ATS against the Jets at home.
TODAY’S PICK: NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS -7

Sunday NFL Pick

The 3-1 Cleveland Browns head west today for a matchup with the 3-1 LA Chargers and the difference maker in this game will be the running game. Cleveland possesses the best run game in the league, behind Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt, and this will pose a problem for LA. The Chargers are allowing an average of 139.5 yards per game on the ground, which is 29th in the NFL. The Browns have been a covering machine. They are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 overall, 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games, and will be catching a Chargers team that is working on a short week. Consider the Browns and the points.
TODAY’S PICK: CLEVELAND BROWNS +2.5

Monday NFL Pick

The Las Vegas Raiders will be a road dog tonight when they put their 3-0 record on the line against the 2-1 Los Angeles Chargers. The Raiders are #1 in the league in yards per game, averaging 471, and will have Derek Carr at the helm. Carr has passed for 300+ yards in each of their three wins and in addition to an already potent offense, they could see the return of their stud running back, Josh Jacobs, who has missed the last two games with an ankle injury. The Chargers managed to steal a win last week in KC, but it came with a price. Justin Herbert injured his passing hand which could come into play against a tough Raider D.
TONIGHT’S PICK: LAS VEGAS RAIDERS +3
