The early game in today’s doubleheader will be the Pittsburgh Steelers hosting the Washington Football Team. The Steelers, who are still unbeaten at 11-0, were not at peak performance in their last outing against Baltimore but as usual they found a way to win. Washington is 4-7 and 1-4 on the road. They are riding a 2-game winning streak but those wins were against the hapless Dallas Cowboys and the pathetic Cincinnati Bengals. Mike Tomlin made it evident that he was not happy with the Steelers’ sloppy play against Baltimore so he will have them focused and ready to go today.

The 3-8 Los Angeles Chargers are better than their record indicates and that will be evident today when they host the New England Patriots. The Chargers’ 8 losses have come by a combined total of just 42 points and with a bounce or two their way, they could easily be sitting at 8-3. LA’s offense is ranked #3 in the league, averaging 397.8 yards per game, and their rookie quarterback, Justin Herbert, is the real deal. He has thrown for 3,015 yards with 23 touchdowns and just 7 interceptions. Not bad for a rook. New England has just one road win on the season and Cam Newton does not seem to be the answer. Newton has thrown for only 1,984 yards, has just 4 touchdown passes and 9 interceptions. The only way the Bolts lose this game will be by the hands of their inept coaching staff that has no clue how to manage a clock and over and over make bad decisions.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens are expected to finally face each other today at Heinz Field. Baltimore has been hit hard by the coronavirus with 8 starters on the list, including quarterback Lamar Jackson, but do you think the Steelers will show them any mercy? Absolutely not. The Steelers are eyeing a perfect season and will be seeking their 11th straight win. Pittsburgh has already beaten a healthy Baltimore team this year in Baltimore and will not think twice about running up the score. The Steelers have been a covering machine, going 7-1 ATS in their last 8 overall and are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 in Pittsburgh. Lay the points and take the Curtain.

Why Philadelphia’s head coach Doug Pederson is sticking with quarterback Carson Wentz is beyond me. He has a passer rating of only 73.3, leads the league in turnovers with 14 picks, 4 fumbles, and has been sacked a ridiculous 40 times. Not good. Seattle is getting healthy and is expected to have starting running back Chris Carson back tonight after missing a month with a foot sprain. Russell Wilson is having another stellar year, with 30 touchdowns, and has a passer rating of 111.5. The Seahawks have won 6 straight against the Eagles, covering all 6, and are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 trips to Philadelphia.

The Buffalo Bills are coming off a bye week so they will be healed and well rested when they host the Los Angeles Chargers today at Bills Stadium. The Bills sit atop the AFC East with a 7-3 record and are 4-1 in Orchard Park. The Chargers have just 3 wins with 7 losses and all 3 wins were against the league’s worst: the NY Jets, the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Cincinnati Bengals. Buffalo is 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 coming off a bye week and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 as a home favorite. The Chargers have won 4 straight against the Bills but that streak ends today.

The 6-2 Iowa State Cyclones will look to extend their 3-game winning streak when they take on the 5-2 Texas Longhorns today in Austin. During their 3-game run, the Cyclones have outscored their opponents 135-53, including a 45-0 shellacking of Kansas State last week. Texas has also won 3 straight but have not played since November 7th so rust could be an issue. The Cyclones have the best running back in the NCAA, Breece Hall, who will be able to eat up yardage against a Longhorn defense that is allowing an average of 400.9 yards per game. Iowa State is 6-1 in the Big 12 and are currently a 1.5 point dog. Consider the Cyclones.

The Dallas Cowboys will have two factors going for them today, momentum and revenge, when the host their NFC rival, the Washington Football Team. The Cowboys are coming off an impressive win over the Vikings in Minnesota and will vie to redeem themselves after a 25-3 loss to Washington on October 25th. Washington is winless on the road, at 0-4, Dallas has won 8 of the last 9 meetings with Washington on Thanksgiving Day, and they are 4-0 in their last 4 against the Football Team in the Big D.
