Two of the NFC’s best, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Los Angeles Rams, will square off tonight at Raymond James Stadium. As expected, the Rams are a road dog, currently getting 4 points, but that is a good thing if you are leaning Rams. Los Angeles is the better team overall. They are ranked #1 on defense and #5 on offense while the Bucs are ranked #3 on defense and #15 on offense. The Rams are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 meetings with the Bucs and are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 in Tampa. The Rams formidable defense will be able to pressure Brady and you know what happens when he gets pressured, he buckles.
TONIGHT’S PICK: LOS ANGELES RAMS +4

After losing four in a row, it appeared the New England Patriots were dead in the water, but they have found life, winning two straight and will seek a third when they travel to Houston to take on the Texans. Cam Newton is starting to find his rhythm. Over the last two victories, he is 40 for 52 for 392 yards, has a combined 4 touchdowns, and a passer rating of 106.7. The Texans have been riddled with injuries and are expected to, once again, be without starting running back David Johnson. Houston has mustered just two wins this year, with both coming against the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars. New England has won 8 of the last 10 meetings with Houston and should cruise to a victory today.

Luck has been shining down on the Arizona Cardinals but nothing lasts forever and we will see what they are really made of when they visit the Seattle Seahawks tonight. The Cardinals won two of their last three games, which were all played in Glendale, but they could have easily lost all three. It took overtime for them to beat Seattle on Oct 25th, then they lost to Miami, and it took a Hail Mary for them to get past Buffalo. The Seahawks have lost two straight but they were road defeats against two of the League’s elite, the Buffalo Bills and the Los Angeles Rams. Russell Wilson has been in a bit of a funk but you can’t keep a good man down for long. Seattle will have payback on their minds and are a perfect 4-0 at home this season.
TONIGHT’S PICK: SEATTLE SEAHAWKS M/L

Two black and blue division foes will square off tonight when the 5-4 Chicago Bears host the 3-5 Minnesota Vikings. Chicago has lost 3 straight and need to get back on track in a hurry. A visit from Minnesota just might be the answer. To say the Bears have been dominating the Vikes of late would be an understatement. They have won 4 straight against Minnesota and are 14-3 in their last 17 meetings against them at Soldier Field. Chicago will have a Bye next week but after that they will travel to Green Bay to face the Packers so if they want to stay in contention for a postseason berth they have to win this game and they know it. Chicago is a home dog tonight, getting 3.5 points, and are worth considering.

After last week’s embarrassing 38-3 defeat at home to the New Orleans Saints, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be eager to get back on track today when they visit the Carolina Panthers. Brady threw 3 interceptions last week, something he has not done in 9 years, but don’t expect a repeat of that today. The only way you get to Brady is to pressure him and the Panthers do not have that ability. They are ranked last in the League with just 9 sacks and when Brady has time he will thread the needle. Carolina has been on a downward slide, losing 4 straight, and are 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 home games. Bucs get back on track and cover the 6.
TODAY’S PICK: TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS -6

With a win tonight against the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium, the Indianapolis Colts will move into a tie with the Titans for the top spot in the AFC South. The Colts defense is very stingy, allowing an average of just 290 yards per game and should be able to contain Derrick Henry and Ryan Tannehill. Philip Rivers will get wide receiver T. Y. Hilton back in the lineup tonight, which is not good for a questionable Titans secondary. Indy is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 in Tennessee and 13-4 ATS in the last 17 meetings. The line is currently even but will probably move. Regardless where it lands, consider the Colts.
TONIGHT’S PICK: INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

If the New York Jets are going to win a game this year it might be tonight when they host the New England Patriots. Cam Newton is not getting it done for New England. Carolina did the smart thing when they released him. He is overpaid, overrated and overhyped. The Jets gave the Buffalo Bills a run for their money two weeks ago and the Bills are a really good football team. Take the points and side with New York.
