If anyone can slow down Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs offense, it’s the San Francisco 49ers. Their defense is relentless. They are #1 against the pass and #17 against the rush. If the 49ers do what they do best, run the ball, they will get the job done. The Chiefs defense is 26th against the rush.

The Tennessee Titans will be at Arrowhead Stadium today to face the Kansas City Chiefs in the Conference Championship game. They got to this point by knocking off two of the best in the business on the road, the New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens. The Titans held the Patriots and Ravens to a combined 25 points and their running back, Derrick Thomas, has been off the charts. Thomas had 182 yards against New England and 195 against Baltimore. With Kansas City ranked 26th against the rush, the Chiefs had better be careful. The Titans were able to contain Brady and Jackson, so why not Mahomes, too? Tennessee won the first meeting this year, 35-32, are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games and are being spotted 7 points.

The Houston Texans will be spotting the Buffalo Bills 2.5 points today when they host the Western New Yorkers in the Wild Card Game. The last time the Bills won a playoff game was with Jim Kelly and the K-Gun Offense but that drought ends today. The Bills’ stingy defense is ranked third in the league, allowing an average of only 16.2 points per game. Buffalo’s Devin Singletary is averaging 5.1 yards per carry and will move the chains against a Houston team that is ranked 25th against the rush. Buffalo was on the losing end in last year’s matchup with Houston but this is not the same team from a year ago. The Bills are 5-0-2 ATS in their last 7 games as a road dog and get it done today.

Are the Dallas Cowboys back on track? It appears that they are after last week’s 44-21 blowout over the Los Angeles Rams. Today they will swagger into Lincoln Financial Field to face a team they have dominated, the Philadelphia Eagles. Dallas has won the last 4 meetings with Philadelphia and put the screws to them back in October, winning 37-10.

Two of the Black and Blue Division’s bitter rivals, the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers, will meet for the 200th time today at Lambeau Field. The Packers are 6-1 at home and are due for a big day after looking lethargic last week in their 20-15 victory over the hapless Washington Redskins. Chicago has won 3 straight but all 3 of the wins were against teams with major issues. The Packers won the first meeting this year in Chicago, 10-3, and they are 18-5 against the Bears when Rodgers is the starter behind center. Pack get it done.

As usual, the Buffalo Bills are getting no respect, but what else is new? They will be a home dog today when they host the Baltimore Ravens. If anyone can slow down Lamar Jackson and the Ravens, it’s the 9-3 Buffalo Bills. The Bills defense is ranked third in the league and on the other side of the ball, they have a gunslinger named Josh Allen pulling the strings. This guy is the real deal. Buffalo will be on 9 days’ rest after putting the screws to the Cowboys in Dallas on Thanksgiving day. Weather in Buffalo today is 43 degrees and cloudy – just how the Western New Yorkers like it.

The Chicago Bears will host the Dallas Cowboys tonight with both teams sitting at 6-6 on the season. Despite what the front office says in Dallas, Jason Garret’s job is in jeopardy. The Cowboys have lost two in a row but those losses were against two elite teams, the Buffalo Bills and the New England Patriots. The Bears are on a 2-game winning streak but there is nothing to get too excited about because the wins came against the lowly Detroit Lions and New York Giants. Dallas is by far the more talented team and has an offense that is averaging 432.8 yards per game, as opposed to the Bears’ average of 281.8. Dallas wins this one for the coach.
