The Bills will have their rookie quarterback Josh Allen back in the lineup. This kid is a true competitor and can make things happen. Buffalo hasn’t forgotten last season when they lost to the Jags in the Wild Card game and would love nothing more than to put a dagger in these guys today. The Bills will be well-rested after coming off a bye from last week and will have 80,000 Western New Yorkers in the stands to back them up.

Carolina will look to bounce back from the throttling Pittsburgh put on them their last time out and when you need to get back on track, Detroit is always a good opponent. The Lions are 3-6, with an offense that is ranked 23rd in the league, and they are 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games against teams with a winning record. The Panthers come into today’s game with a record of 6-3 and are ranked 3rd in the league in rushing, averaging 138.4 yards per game, and that does not bode well for Detroit who is weak against the run. Carolina is resilient. After a straight up loss, they are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games. Lay the 4 and take Newton and Company.

The Green Bay Packers are still winless on the road, at 0-4, but with a guy like Aaron Rogers at the helm that will change. Tonight they will be at CenturyLink Field to face the Seattle Seahawks, who have lost two in a row and are 1-2 on the season at home. The Packers are coming off a 31-12 thumping of the Miami Dolphins and the other Aaron, Aaron Jones, has been tearing it up in the backfield for Green Bay. In his last 3 games, Jones has rushed for 306 yards with 3 TDs and that doesn’t bode well for Seattle, whose defense is allowing an average of 5 yards per carry. The Packers will be spotted 3 points in this one and are 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings with the Seahawks.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are hot and will have revenge on their minds when they take their 3-game winning streak into M&T Bank Stadium today to face the Baltimore Ravens. He has completed 67.7% of his passes during their 3-game winning streak and has a running back, James Conner, who can eat up yardage. Who needs Le’Veon Bell when you have a guy like this? The Erie native has rushed for 599 yards on 127 carries and is averaging 4.7 yards per touch. The Ravens are in a tailspin, losing two in a row, and are coming off a 36-21 beating at the hands of the Carolina Panthers. The Steelers are hot, ride them ’til their not, and they will be getting 2.5 points in this one.

The Buffalo Bills have a chance at finally making the playoffs but it will take a victory over the Miami Dolphins in Miami today and some help. The Bills cannot be concerned with anything other than taking out the Dolphins. Buffalo won the last meeting, 24-16, and will be a road favorite at -2.5. The Bills have the weapons to get it done today, with running back Shady McCoy and wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin. Do the Bills cover the number? Probably, but my concern is they are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games. Play it safe and consider Buffalo on the money line.

The Buffalo Bills have not made the playoffs since the last century. If they want to break that trend, they cannot afford to lose today at home against the Miami Dolphins and they know it. Tyrod Taylor will be at the helm today for Buffalo, after sitting last week with a knee injury. The Bills are 5-2 at New Era Field, where they are averaging 19.6 points per game and allowing an average of 20.9. Miami will be playing on short rest after knocking off the Patriots at home on Monday, but remember, Gronk did not play for New England and without him, Brady is lost. The Dolphins are 2-4 on the road, where they are averaging 13.8 points per game and allowing an average of 29. Game time temperature in Buffalo will be around 25 degrees which will suit the Bills and their rowdy fans just fine. Buffalo needs to feed Shady, limit their turnovers, and they should get this win. The Bills are laying 3 but why sweat the points? Take them on the money line.
